Yes to Pons Avaracas! Personally, I love this style and find them incredibly comfortable and stylish.

I bought a pair of the originals back in 1996 on Menorca and am now on my fourth pair of Pons in bronze. I love them! They are the most comfortable sandals in the world; I can and have walked for miles in them and I love the look.

I should have noticed that this item has a sole an heel.more like a flip flop.I don't like it at all and I adore my Pons with a rubber sole. Shame on me for not paying better attention.

I have one pair of Pons and I can't seem to get another pair to fit. They are either too big or too small. I have the ankle strap wedge style that I love but I've ordered 3 pairs since in different colors and no luck. Too bad because this is a well made, comfortable, classic shoe that I continuously receive completes on!

I only tried them on and walked around my office for a few minutes. I thought they were really cute but they have no support or padding in the shoe. I bought them for my trip to Italy this summer. I don't think my feet would have held up walking around in these all day.

I have two pair of these - pewter classic and black ankle strap. I have been wearing them for two years. I always order them one size smaller than my other shoes. I can walk in them all day with no complaints. The pewter classic is my favorite. I like that I can slip them on - no hands and the color can be worn with any color. The metallic finish dresses up a pair of jeans or a casual dress. I will say I get more compliments on the ankle strap pair. They seem to catch people's eye.
