I have worn these around the house to evaluate if they will work for long treks. Yes, the arch support is high, but man, they are so comfortable!!For reference, I am a true EU 39, but in US I buy 8.5, sometimes 9 depending on shoe. I ordered a 8.5 and they are near perfect, maybe a tiny bit large. I am a medium width, not narrow, not wide, and these seemed to fit the bill

I’ve been wearing Vionic shoes for over 10 years but recently none of their shoes are fitting anymore. For these sandals, my normal shoe size around my foot is perfect and so comfortable with the arch support, however the straps are way too large and not adjustable enough to keep the shoe on my foot. Trying a size smaller would leave my foot hanging off the edges. So disappointing to return because they are so cute!

Right away I ordered the ones in black. So comfortable so beautiful so versatile perfect for travel. I have wide feet and a high Arch.

Wide, in the case of this shoe, simply means the toe post fabric is super long, making the shoe flop around on my wide foot. They are beautiful, but the insole is regular width, and my wide foot hangs over the side, but they are super loose--almost dangerously so--on top. I saw another poster site this, but I bought them anyway, thinking her experience may have been a fluke; I kept them because of severe pain from a foot problem and I had no other supportive shoes at the time I needed relief. Now that i have other good shoes, these "wide" vionics are going to the thrift store, as I don't feel right about selling them to someone else online, and the buyer having the same problem i did and possibly thinking I decieved them about the nature of the width.

This is the third pair of this particular sandal I’ve owned over the past 5 years. Great for long days on your feet while still looking stylish. However, this years redesign added a Velcro strap (rather than the prior buckle— but there is no adjusting the fit, which is unfortunate. Like others have said, the shoes seems to also be narrower than in the past. I have never had to order “wide” styles in the past, but after trying in my normal 8.5, the outer ridge of the shoe sat uncomfortably under my foot, which spilled over the narrow design. However, the shoes also felt a bit “sloppy” in the toe, and from my past experience, that becomes worse with wear. Since the shoes felt insecure, I decided to order the wides a half size down. The width is just right, and while the toe feels a little overly snug at the moment, I’m sure that will loosen as I break them in. So, all in all, still a good shoe, but you might have to try a few different sizes to find what works best for your feet. But for folks who do typically order wides, this sandal may be too narrow for most.

I love the fit of these shoes. They are comfortable and nice looking.

They run large ..had to reorder a half size smaller. Attractive sandals

The soles were really comfortable but the leather across the foot was too tight and there was no give with the tiny bit of elastic on the sides.
