My sister has been falling several times a day and seizures. For the first time ever, I was able to stop her falling in at least two episodes. I was able to pull backwards on this belt. It was very secure and strong. I give it a five! I wish I’d of had it for the past two years!

Being shorter than my dad when I can't use a regular gait belt, this is perfect. It gives me the grips in multiple locations so that I feel I can keep him from falling.

I love this belt to help my mom walk and transfer. It has many handles to grab on to and I love the snap buckle versus the belt buckle type fastener. Easy on, easy off. Pretty easy to tighten when they stand up, if you put on while in sitting position.

I donated this to our local volunteer fire department. My son is an EMS and always talks about how hard it is to lift large people. This is a great help

Just like the transfer belts used at the Rehab facility but with loops. This belt - and loops- has worked wonderfully in helping with mobility issues (standing, sitting, transferring from bed to wheelchair or wheelchair to car). It’s tricky because the belt has to be tight enough to help lift the person yet loose enough to not squeeze the patient when it inevitably slides up around the chest area.The longer length of the belt also lets us wrap the immobile left arm where we h the exceed length (sort of like a sling) to keep track of the arm when transferring the patient and keep it out of the way.

After my US Air Force Korean Conflict veteran husband’s stroke, I was given a cotton gait belt. It was adequate but it was difficult to guide him with what was essentially an extra wide belt. Then I was given my first Secure gait belt. What a difference! With several loops placed around the belt it was much easier to have better control when he walks. He’s 5’ 9”. I’m 5’ 1”. I’m a 69 year old Navy veteran, he’s 86. The Secure gait belt gives me the leverage to ensure his, and my, safety. Never have had a fall using the Secure gait belt! I got this second Secure gait belt so I can wash one and still have the second as a safe way of transferring him. Thank you!

Adjustable, so a medium fits most people.

My husband has Parkinson's Disease with Dementia. He is tall and very slender. This belt has taken a strain off my body. Using it when getting up and down, moving to the commode, bed, or walking from one room to another is so much easier. Turns even go smoother as it helps him follow my guide with the belt. It is well made, sturdy, and the handles are amazing.
