Cuisinart PrecisionSlice™ Mandoline, CTG-00-PMAN

Goodbye to chopping, dicing, slicing too many items. Food prep is again fun and more efficient because of this. I like how it's easy to set up, sturdy and does not shift. It's also easy to clean. I just fold it when it's dry from washing and store it. It does not take up a lot of storage space either. I recommend this product to anyone who likes to cook at home but has started to develop pain and discomfort with repetitive movements. This is a lifesaver!

Very easy to use and much safer than its competitors. Used it to make coleslaw.

Finally found an adjustable slicer. Great product and super easy to use. It is not, however, easy to clean. It does not come apart that I can see and the instructions don’t show that capability either.

Love how easy it is to use and it slices great HOWEVER the clean up process is terrible. It took me twice as long to clean it as it did slicing over a dozen cucumbers.

I purchased so I could slice veggies, e.g., zucchini, to dehydrate. It does a great job. My husband likes to use it, too. Makes the job fast and slices even size. Cleans fairly easily by just rinsing under the faucet.

The Cuisinart PrecisionSlice Mandoline is a handy kitchen tool when you don't want to drag out the big food processor. Although it is a little involved to clean after use, it takes up very little space in the cupboard. This mandoline is much safer than traditional slicers, making it a great addition to any kitchen.

Wish I'd have seen this design before cutting one of my fingers on the other style of mandolin I had ... which is now in the garage sale pile! This design and simple cutting adjustment is far simpler, and superior, to my last mandolin that required blade change out and storage. Super safe design, easy to use, easy to adjust cutting thickness/style ... move to this design, your fingers will thank you ... ask me how I know!! Very highly recommended.

I really like many features of Cuisnart's PrecisionSlice Mandoline. First and most importantly, this cuts down on chopping time by so much! This resulted in a much faster dinner prep which is what was most desired. However, it was rather messy during the process. The onions wouldn't always neatly end up in the catching bin as I would have desired. With a few manufacturing tweaks, I feel like this could be avoided and resulting in a superb product. Additionally, clean up can be tricky if not tended to immediately, and making dinner clean up longer. If you rinse it off soon after using it, much of the frustration can be avoided. If quickly rinsed, it is more easily put in the dishwasher to be cleaned. Overall, it works well and is a great addition to our kitchen.
