American Yard Products AYP 532127534 Gasket Cover

Item lasted one year but I also left it out through the winter and the hot southern summer. So May have been my fault.

first I want to start by saying that the designed bag catcher using a gasket is pretty crappy, every other time I open the catcher to dump the grass the gasket wants to come out: and if somebody else uses the mower they don't pay attention and the gasket gets thrown out, then while mowing the lawn I have a excessive amount of grass being blown all over me as if I took a shower in it. I used to have a Honda riding mower and it used a pressed fitting and was way better ( at least for the bag catcher design). This is the second time I have purchased this product and the last time. You see, to prevent it from coming out and being thrown away by someone, I cleaned the catcher hole area with a wet rag, then some break cleaner on that and the gasket, then I used Lexel, which is like silicon but takes forever to fully cure (2 weeks) but dry enough after a few days. I recommend using silicon instead as it fully cures over night, but now it will never inadvertently come off again. No more grassy showers. SILICON IT

It works well enough I guess. It does tend to work loose like the older one but I do believe I have a cure for that. I intend to drill holes into the hood and rivet the item into place so it doesn't work loose. That should cure or solve that problem.After that I want to work on another idea. Flex tube extension so that the grass will dump into a trailer as I do have a very large yard to mow which will hopefully solve the problem of having to dump so many times. Fingers crossed.

I use my lawnmower as a lawn tractor sometimes. I also use it as a ride around for my kids. They enjoy going around the property on my lap as we speed through the bushes! During the winter, after one such ride, I found a round rubber frisbee and proceeded to play with the kids with it. Not knowing a bush had pulled it off of my mower a few days before, and not wanting to mow it in the spring I threw it away. I thought it had been in the bushes since the previous owners. My mistake.This is a perfect replacement for the gasket I threw away.

Works great and fit perfectly on my craftsman LT 2000

It works with the double bagger of my craftsman riding mower. The quality does not look as good as the original one. More deformed and not round enough so it can have gaps have certain location

Part is the same as original or close. Problem is not with the part, but with the design of the bagger. After a few removals of the top chute piece, this gasket works its way out of the top of the bagger.

Went on easily and has stayed on. I am no longer covered with grass clippings after a cut.
