Overall: I recommend this very good product, with one caveat
PROS: 1) prompt delivery; 2) sophisticated packaging, including vacuum sealing and, 3) very nice taste.CON: The Bottarga brick is so dense and hard that it is exhausting and time consuming to manually grate even a small amount. I had to resort to an electric grater and even that groaned under the task. Perhaps this density / hardness is natural for this product ? I don't know, but once grated it's clear sailing !

Tuna is salty!)
Mullet butarga is much much better for me. But some may like punch strong taste.

Fabulous flavour.
This is fab stuff. A little like a fish parmesan. Amazing flavour, bursting with umami. It also comes beautifully packaged and would make a great present for the foodie in your life.

Looks nothing like the picture. Its compleetly dark in colour, almost black. Its only a slice not a big piece like in the picture and smells totally strange
