Update 1/31/24: Seller saw my review and offered me a refund. I told them I wasn't asking for a refund, I just hoped they would improve the product. They sent me a new model that the lid does snap on. I'm very pleased with it and impressed with their response! I give it 5 stars now because that was my only complaint!The idea of this could be a great product. Unfortunately making a lid that snaps on did not seem to occur to them. I love the rest of this product, but the lid has fallen off twice while taking it out of the fridge and spilled butter all over the floor. Then I have a greasy mess to clean up. Wouldn't buy this again.

It cuts the butter beautifully. The container is great. I can easily remove the small slices one at a time out of the container. I don’t like that the lid stay on loosely and does not snap on. Overall good kitchen item.

Cuts and stores butter as needed. Slices could be bigger, but it's easy to double up. Remember to let the butter soften a bit before trying to cut it. Just like cutting cold butter with a knife, it will crumble in pieces with this too.
