I added an insole that really made these shoes comfortable. I am on my feet constantly for eight hours a day/six days a week and do a lot of heavy lifting and carrying merchandise around, and these shoes give me added peace of mind and protection for my feet.

When they arrived I pushed my finger into the sole. The sole crunched like there were pop rocks in it. The sole has no cushion at all. The steel toe part of it is too close to the toes. Don’t waste your money.

I ordered these steel toed shoes because they're lightweight. I have heavy leather work boots, but sometimes they're just too heavy to maneuver in, under and around the cars that I work on. These fit nicely and are roomy enough for heavy socks when it's cold. I do wish they were more water/oil repellent, but I have the leather ones for that. These are a nice, affordable pair of work shoes to alternate with sturdier boots or to wear full time on the job depending on your needs. Good value.
