There’s no doubt that Chinese curry from a takeaway has a particular flavour. I’ve tried a few pastes and powders over the years to achieve the same taste at home, with limited success. This powder is just about spot on. You get 12 packs of 220g. A single pack makes enough curry for about 6 to 8 portions, so I’ve been using half a pack. It’s very easy to make; just add water and whisk over heat. I quick fry the meat and onions in a wok whilst the sauce is heating, then add it to the wok to catch all the flavours. Ready in no time and tastes great.

I’ve been using this Chinese curry sauce mix for years and it has remained unchanged and authentic during that time. It is by far the best Chinese curry sauce on the market. It’s simple to make too…just add the correct amount of water and stir continuously until it’s hot and the consistency is thick. It is quite a strong and powerful curry sauce and is identical to the sauce used in my favourite local Chinese restaurant. Once you’ve tried this, you’ll be convinced and any other brand will seem like a second class experience. For me, it’s an easy 10 out of 10!

Yeungs Chinese curry power makes a tasty curry sauce that’s as good as your local takeaway. Simply add hot water & heat on the hob stirring for a smooth sauce, that’s not too spicy, it’s delicious on its own with chips or with any meat & veg of your choice to make a tasty meal with rice. I bought 24 packs & will buy more once it’s all gone. Good value for money too.
