They give you a good amount of support. I am very please with them . I stand all the time at my job so I found that this brace really does help.

I think I order a size too big to provide proper ankle support. Went down a size, same great quality and fit a better too. I like the versatility, the brace fits on either ankle. The elasticity and support provided pain relief and increased my circulation.

I have been wearing straps with velcro around my feet at home to mend my Achilles tendons after blowing them out last summer while weed whacking on the hill in front of my house. Those pressure straps have gotten the huge marble-size hard bumps down by over half. And, they feel better. But… the straps will not fit in my shoes so went looking for something I could wear while out in the world. Hence these compression sleeve socks.I was out all today walking around, then sitting too long and driving the car; it’s a stick shift. Usually by the time I get home I need to put my feet in ice boots to ease the swelling and then put the straps on again.Not today, baby! My feet feel like there is not a tendon problem at all. I feel like I could spin on ice or dance across the floor, or just simply go up and down the stairs without pain. I am amazed and terribly delighted.As you can see in the photos, I do wear socks over them, because my feet get cold, here in Maine.I love this pair of compression socks and I am going to order 3 more pair. If anything changes for better or worse, I will update this review. But I’m thinking that being able to keep my feet happy all day, not just when I’m home, those hard bumps on my tendons are going to disappear completely in a month or two at the most. The compression sock will allow me heal instead of ticking the tendons off, daily.

"Sewing finish" is located at part of ankle brace that meets with the bottom of foot. Irritation rubbing when wearing shoesIt's a shame. Comfortable and good quality otherwise. But, must return.

Have had several ankle sprains and needed extra support for my water aerobic classes. These ankle socks work extremely well for providing that support. I have ordered several pairs and they have held up well in the chlorinated pool. They haven't loss their elasticity, (but they have faded -no surprise there though). The one caveat: They are a bit difficult to get off after I have been in the pool so if someone has any kind of arthritis in their hands, they made seem some assistance in removing them when wet.

I bought this to protect my ankle from 1. rolling and 2. swelling. Even though my measurements fit the appropriate size, it's too uncomfortable.
