Strong, Light and Lifts/Lowers Smoothly
The box contained a "read this first" card from Arcan- a competitor ( I thought) to Jegs. That said, this aluminum jack was cheaper than similar Arcan/ aluminum jack, performs smoothly and is under 70#. While searching for best frame locations to place jack stands, this 3-ton jack held up the front end of my truck for at least 10 minutes without movement. So it performs lifting well and is much lighter than my previous steel jack.

Excellent
Excellent price and excellent product! Lift capacity is piece of cake. 2-3 pumps and your lifting the car up. Ease of use is easy. Very strongly made, weight is medium , not too heavy , not too light… no issue unless you plan to carry it with you everywhere…i.e…shopping, bedroom…

built solid, works well
I have used the jack a couple of times now, so far no problems. pros: built well, easy to operate, the handle is robust, I have good control during lowering You will get about 2 inches of rise on a normal pump. If you pump from the full upright position to the lowest position, you will get about 3 inches. I do not count the weight as a negative, it weights that much because of the sturdiness of the build. cons: no instructions for safely removing the catch bar holding the handle yoke down (for shipping). To do this safely: put a small piece of lumber (1/2 inch or taller) under the jack, near the cross brace by the yoke. That is necessary to have room under the jack to let the catch come out. Put a piece of pipe or crow bar in the yoke and press down (this relieves stress on the catch bar). While holding the yoke down, push down on the catch bar (close to where it hooks into the bottom of the jack) with a long screw driver. That end of the bar will drop down, now you can let the yoke raise up. If you just put the jack on it's side and pry the bry out, it will go flying! No I didn't do that. 4 yrs later: the jack is still working well, there are no leaks

WOW! Professional by every standard
Have owned/used a few floor jack's the past 50 years. None, has been anywhere near the build quality of this Jeggs 3 ton floor Jack. The aluminum reduces weight to a manageable level for an aging garage putzer. This is a serious tool - easily lasting me the rest of my days. Beyond impressed.

Cross threaded from factory CHEAPLY assembled
i have your low profile 3 ton jack and i am completely upset about this. All of a sudden i lock the jack into place and the jack handle just spun right past the stop point. i thought maybe the jack just blew a seal or something so i just ordered your re seal kit. For further investigation i removed the jack hand shaft and then the jack springs. as i pull out the jack bit that leads right into the pump the threads are stripped out. i am a just garage user of changing tires at home or changing oil. this jack will not hold pressure now and i’m just thankful i was not under it when the complete pressure released. I have jacks that are 15-20 years old that were cheap jacks from resell stores that have never had any issues and this is a high dollar “best jack” that money can buy for the home user…. I’m on the verge of just throwing this in the trash because i don’t think this can be fixed since the ALUMINUM threads are stripped! i thought Jegs made only the best products out there and this is a HUGE let down, if you can rectify this i will continue to be a customer. if not, well i’m going to lose all faith in the brand . i’m asking for help, im asking for anything you can do, i have not abused this jack and it has been in my garage its whole life. please help

Worth it!
Received this for a Father’s Day gift and I have been more than happy. Works absolutely great and if you understand how it works there shouldn’t be any problem easing your vehicle down. I had no issues after a couple of times. Definitely would recommend and I will most likely buy another for a spare.

Just quality.
This thing is NICE! Not sure if it’s the aluminium construction, the tolerances, the fit and finish or the satisfaction of knowing that you splurge or a nicer jack makes it feel as good as it does, but this is a joy and pleasure to use... it rolls on my driveway nice, I’m sure the foam handle will tear up after a failed but it feels nice while it’s there. Everything is heavily lubricated with thick grease, tight and smooth- definitely recommend, paid around $250 and would buy again if had to buy a floor jack again. Had/used a couple of red(not sure if craftsman or harbor freight) and what a difference! This is a large unit(read:longer, wider, but just as low as the 1ton smaller ones) it feels secure and hefty while raising the car up- there is just no comparison to the red ones(the cheaper ones that are around $100-150).
