Is the coax input at the back (through the wall) or from the bottom? Thanks

Hi, it's from the bottom. It's the best on the market, by the way. Good build quality.

can the coax be inserted through the backof the socket rather than through the base? One review suggests it can but the previous answer says base.

Possibly the terms 'back' and 'base' might be interpreted differently depending on what orientation it's used in. I installed this a while ago but as far as I can remember the only access for the cable is on the opposite face to the coax socket and not from behind when it's fixed to a wall. In other words, it's not possible for the unit to conceal a cable emerging from a wall or skirting board, for example.

Installation instructions

The socket screws onto the wall or even the skirting board if you like. For attaching the co-ax cable I would suggest that you take a look at the various videos on YouTube to see how to do it.
