i Play Breathable Solid Flap Infant Baby Sun Protection & Swim Hat

Okay, so, full disclosure: my children hardly wear these, because they hate hats. My review is based off the minimal amount of time I *do* get them to leave them on. For reference, I have a 4yo and a 2yo. My kids definitely prefer this cut over a bucket-style hat, as the firmer brim gives them better visibility. The fabric is light and very breathable. The drape on the neck is just right - long enough to cover everything well, but not so long or broad that it is bothersome. Has the right amount of stretch to fit a good size range. My 4yo is teeny, but also has a lot of hair, and my 2yo has a huge head; I got them both the same size, and it fit both of them well, and probably will fit certainly next year and maybe even longer. My children are super ultra fair skinned, so I do still try to make them wear these whenever I can. The color is bright and true to the photos. My one wish is that the chin ties would be velcro, and shorter. I think the length of the ties under their chins is what draws their attention to the fact that theyre wearing the hat, and causes them to pull it off. I've considered just cutting them off, but then the hats would likely just fall off since they are pretty active, vigorous play-ers. Would still recommend to others and would purchase again. I love i-play products. We have used their swim diapers for 4 years, on two children of very different proportions, and they're great quality.

Pros: protective from sub, soft, chin tie, neck flap on back. This is better than the other I play hat versions. This fabric is more breathable, and is full of tiny holes for airflow. Cons: head part isn’t adjustable but has elastic. Fits fine, but maybe be a little larger on a small baby. Wish it came in more colors or patterns. Overall: this is the only hat you need for summer for babies. Excellent hat, it’s the only one I would ever buy after testing many. Best feature is the neck flap. Keeps baby covered from the sun.

These are the very best sub hats! They protect the ears, neck, and face from UV rays. It stays on super easily, and has a clip for removal in case you need a fast way to remove the hat. It’s easily adjustable, and very soft. It isn’t waterproof, but dries very fast. It’s cute and a great purchase! We have several.

Love this hat for my baby! Gives good coverage of his face but also neck and ears. Comfy and lightweight!

It fits my 5 month old and still has some space to grow. It was definitely too big at 4 months though. We use it for the beach, pool and outings at the zoo. It is lightweight, dries quickly and seems to offer sufficient SPF protection. The neck coverage is definitely a plus!

I had a smaller version of this hat when my daughter was younger, so I bought the 2T-4T size now that she is older. The fabric is breathable and it has great coverage for her neck and ears. The one thing is that the elastic going around the back is bunched a little funny. I'm not sure if it is the sewing, but when she has it on it looks and fits ok. Not worth trying to return it for another.

The best kids hat. Stays put because of the chin strap. Material is breathable, so she's not bathed in sweat. She loves pink, so she'll actually wear it and keep it on. This is her 3rd hat of this style in her long 4 years.

This unisex hat is very practical and 50 UV protective, It covers my granddaughter's ears, the back of her neck and has a bill front as an eyeshade, It has accounted for baby growth and will fit her several years. It washed beautifully and kept it's shape. It also keeps bugs and flies off of her. They land on the hat and not on her head or face. This product is well worth the money for the product.
