This hat is a step above all other hats/caps I have owned. It is high quality, well made and has a nice finish and a classy look. This hat has a feature that I have never seen before in a hat. The back four panels of the hat are made from a material that stretches. This stretching allows the hat to conform to your head and hair shape making for a secure fit along with a Velcro adjustment strap. Please note that from looking at pictures and other reviews, it seems like the material of the hats and the adjustment strap in the back differs depending on the design. I can only speak of the hat I have which is the white Captain hat.

This cap is both cute and comfortable. Well made with a sturdy material and a comfortable fit.

This hat is perfect for what I got it for, to amuse some relatives I sail with now and then who know I could not captain even a rowboat. They know this because the only boat I own is a rowboat that has been stolen, nearly lost in a flood, and otherwise spends lots of time on my lawn. Nevertheless it is lots of fun to be on any boat and wear this hat, take selfies, etc. It does not quite measure up as a hat for a real captain, but is perfect for lubbers. I have a larger than average head and it fits fine.
