Q: I need to run about 150 feet. can this cable be daisy chained to make up the differance.

This line cannot be connected in series for 150 ft, because the longer the cable, the greater the resistance The cable must be powered separately, otherwise it will not work! We are currently testing the 150ft extension line. If it works stably, we will sell it to the market

Q: How far from the end of the cable is the plastic module containing the signal booster? (It's near the remote/female end, not the computer end, right?)

It's near the remote/female end 15ft

It can. But I found that the longer the cord is the signal gets weaker.
