This is a well thought out design, from the packaging and case to the tools themselves. The user guide provides a wealth of information, including a specific explanation of each tool-head. The case has shaped slots for each tool-head as well as for the device base they snap on to. The device base takes 1 AAA battery, and has 3 vibration options -medium vibration, high vibration, and pulse. The medium setting was similar to the vibration on a toothbush. I found these to be good settings.While colorful and appealing for children, this set can also be used by adults with sensory needs (and/or a need for increased blood supply to an area. For the mouth, for example, one might select a vibration tool to desensitize or to spur healing after oral surgery. If you have certain illnesses, particularly autoimmune, the vibration can come in handy to distract and help with neuropathies. For children, or those who are still kids at heart, the whimsical colors and shapes make this tool a pleasure to use. It is a fun-to use therapy tool! It is very soothing, and kids (and adults, alike) will be eager to use this on their own rather than fighting you to use it!

This thing is a miracle for my son who has sensory issues.If he's freaking out, we just hand him this thing. He puts it in his mouth and it calms him down instantly. I'm sure there's some complex science behind it that I don't understand.The pieces screw on and off, which I'm a little worried about. I'd like there to be a safety feature that prevents the pieces from coming off accidentally, but there's not.

I got this Buzz Buddy kit for my 1.5 year old son, who has been having trouble transitioning to chewing solid foods and is already in feeding therapy. His therapy suggests that we use this to help feed him and help desensitize his mouth before he eats. So far he's still a little wary of the vibrations (even the weakest setting is a little strong for him), but he will hold onto the tool if it's off. I like that there are 6 different tips to help him get used to different textures. It's a work in progress still, but this is a great little kit to try to help him along. I also want to note that our kit DID come with one AAA battery, since some of the product images say that it does not come with a battery.

At first, I thought this might help with teething, but now I don’t think it appropriately is geared towards that young of an age group, but I’d have to go back and check the box to be certain, but I’d guess that it is. All of my kids had some oral fixation or another. Thumb, fingers, pacifiers… so this is helpful, as those things are for self-soothing AKA comforting purposes, and these are surely beneficial at weaning from such behaviors with calming soothing vibration from multiple, textured tips that are safe for toddler’s and young kid’s mouths.It can help soothe sensory issues & might possibly help with other young, early-childhood conditions & behaviors. Maybe even break bad habits. It seems a tad pricy at first glance, but if it soothes a child or offers help with weaning, it certainly is worth the money. It can also be helpful in expanding a child’s palette, as I’ve had very picky eaters. That would make it a worthy investment, too. My son who has some issues seems to like this and helps with his issues. He says it's like having an electric toothbrush, but as a spoon lol. Works great, and we love the different attachments it comes with so he can choose with one he wants to use. Travel case is nice, so he can have it while traveling, and instructions are very clear and easy to understand.

These little oral gum buddies are perfect for the teething or non teething babies that want to put everything in their mouths. I have been using this set with my nephew and I can tell I am already winning him over! The little heads fit perfectly in the handle and offer a variety of different options. It’s been entertainment for hours and allows me to get things done around the house!

Works almost like an electric toothbrush. Except its specifically for the little ones who have yet to grow their first tooth. Works well and doesn't make too much noise. The baby thinks its funny but overall would recommend and the quality of it is well made.
