Coast To Coast International Gloss Black Impostor Wheel Skins IWCIMP380BLK, Set of 4, Fits Ford F150 2015-2017

I got these imposters for my 17 f150 lariat with 20” 6 spoke aluminum rims. My rims are factory sport package rims with about 90k on them.Clear coat is flaking/chunking off, and I have a little bit of curb rash. These were a good price at under $80 and they popped right on. Not a permanent change, done in 20 min.I bought the new black/silver oem center caps to complete the look. I also got new black lugnuts. All and all I’m in for about $140 and they look great.I was worried at first thinking this will look like caps. They don’t!My co-worker has a brand new Camaro with sport package, I saw that the factory put black imposters on there as well.Now if I hit a curb from driving bad or avoiding something I’m only out $80-100 for a new set of these. That far less expensive than rim repair or replacement. I would recommend these to anyone that wants a look change or to fix damage. Less expensive than what I would have paid to dip them.

So the existing clear coat on all of the wheels on my 2015 Ford F150 XLT are peeling off so instead of spending $1000’s, I came across wheel skins. I found them for less than $75 and decided to also purchase black/chrome Ford caps for less than $35 for the blackout look. Easy installation however the instructions weren’t that clear. So in case anyone needs it, 1-Remove the existing blue Ford cap with flathead screwdriver. Take your time doing this. 2-Install the center cap with the screw first. Make sure to line up the clips so they they are installed tight. This was a little difficult to do but be patient with this. You may need to use the back end of your screwdriver to tap the cap in. 3-Install the wheel skin making sure the tire air cap lines up with the skin. Put pressure on each of the wheels until you hear a click sound. Make sure to do it to all of the wheels spokes. 4-Screw in the screws with washer that came with the center cap tightly. 5-Clip on the Ford cap (whether the original blue Ford cap or the new black Ford cap.

I was skeptical but for $70 why the heck not try it? These look great and took 5min to install. Very pleased with the product.(7 month Update) these have been the best decision for addressing the peeling oem clear coat on the sport wheels. I bought them in late March and it’s now almost October. I have a beach house in the outer banks, nc so I’ve spend a ton of time driving in sand. They have been through the wringer and still look as good as day 1! No problems AT ALL! I did have my tires rotated at Ford since installing these. I didn’t risk it so I removed them prior to taking them to the dealership. All good! Man I’m glad I found these.(Update 1 day after my 7mo update) go figure! 1 day after posting my my last update I took a 900 mile road trip and at some point lost an imposter wheel. I don’t think it was a problem with the clips or how they were built. It probably had something to do with driving through a tropical storm for several hrs and taking sharp (ish) turns too fast. Additionally, I had just washed and waxed my truck and wheels the day before. I guess it’s possible that my pressure washer got in between the wheel and imposter wheel to unclip it slightly. In any event, not complaining too much. About to purchase another set and will now have 3 spares in the event this happens again.

These skins are amazing, completely transformed my truck. I love these rims but like every other owner the clear coat flakes off. But with these wheel skins it completely refreshes the wheels. Just buy it.

Sorry, we had storms, but the still looks great. Someone asked where did I get those rims. They were shocked to find out they were caps. Easy to install and durable.

I don't generally write reviews, but this item is awesome. As pictured, there is a real quality issue with this style Ford wheels for the F150. The clearcoat and finish flakes off, so they screwed up somewhere during the manufacturing process. I was in a predicament where the wheels were due for replacement, but the installed tires had plenty of life. After looking around marketplace for some used wheels, I finally came across these covers. They fit like a glove, cover the glaring issues with these wheels and look spectacular. They do come with a set of black center caps, which I didn't understand at first. What you do is install the black caps, then attach the wheel cover followed lastly by your stock center cap.

I put these on my 2017 F150 that the clear coat was peeling on. These fit perfect and cover up the ugliness. They've been on for a while now and look as good as they did when installed. Great price and excellent results.

I didn’t know these existed until a week ago. Like everyone else, my factory sport wheels are peeling the clear coat like mad! These literally went on in under 5 minutes and I couldn’t be happier with them! Super pumped as I was getting ready to sandblast and paint them right before I heard about them!
