Kraus 19 3/4 Inch Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink, Durable 18 Gauge Single Bowl Kitchen Sinks Undermount, KBU11

I wanted a big, sturdy sink for our kitchen remodel. The layout demanded a 30" sink base, this was the biggest sink that the description said fit a 30" base, so we took a chance on it. Our local Kraftmaid rep happened to be at our house to issue replacement doors, and we spoke with him about our sink plans. We were concerned about compromising the structural integrity of the sink, or voiding the manufacturer's excellent warranty. We would have to cut out part of the wood on the top of both sides to get the sink to fit. He said that in no way would it void Kraftmaid's warranty. The wood pieces we were cutting apparently are for attaching Formica to the top of the cabinet - they do not affect the structural integrity of the cabinet at all! There is enough room in the base to leave ~1" on either side of the sink, once the cut has been made. We were thrilled and ordered the Kraus that day. Our plumber was impressed with the quality of the sink. We got lucky with installation, we had less than 1/4" clearance for the drain pipe underneath because we had not anticipated such a deep sink and drain - definitely make sure your plumber has the spec sheet info for the depth of the drain so he allows enough room underneath for the drain rough-in. We are so glad we did! The sink is cavernous - we can stack a pile of dirty dishes on one side, and strain a pot of pasta into a full-sized colander on the other. Overall a beautiful, durable sink for an excellent price, comes with all the accessories, and fits into a 30" sink base - this was a home run in our reno and one of the few decisions we didn't agonize over or second-guess (once we knew it would fit!) We would have loved to support an American company (the Kraus is made in China), however we put chunks of our reno budget towards bigger ticket items made in the USA (appliances, cabinets, etc), and were happy to get a quality sink for a reasonable price.

First of all, I wanted a single bowl sink that didn't overwhelm my kitchen counter. And, I wanted a sink that was less industrial looking than the commercial-like sinks. The design of the sink with its rounded corners makes cleaning easy. Like all stainless products, it shows water spots if you don't wipe them up. But Kraus included a micro-towel for this purpose. The sink is quiet due to the sound dampening Kraus has put on the outside walls and underside. I especially like the drain rack that fits in the bottom. It is functional but stylish. The rack comes with extra feet and bumpers so you can replace them when you need to. While this is a relatively small sink, I can put a dishpan on one side and still have room in the sink to rinse things off. A great choice for the new quartz counters we had installed.

Super well made. Lot's of sound deadening material and is coated with material to help prevent sweating compared to Home Depot models. Perfectly polished - it's actually wrapped in a black CLOTH bag. Super easy installation, just make sure your opening (if already existing) lines up with inside edges.

Bought the used like new open box deal! Came in original box didnt seem like it was ever opened. Not a scratch or a issue at all! Beautiful!

Was given the opportunity to get a free sink with our granite, which after seeing this deal I declined. First off the free sink was 18 gauge and no insulation. There was none of the extras that come with this package. After adding up a hundred fifty dollars to add the same accessory's with the other sink and calculating the quality loss of settling on a 18 gauge with no insulation, this sink was easily a better bargain then my free sink. It arrived well packaged like everyone has stated. I immediately checked for a smooth surface as that is the only negative I've been seeing with this sink. Mine was beutifully and smoothly finished. It was nicely packaged in a reusable cloth bag, all the accesories noted and a template guide. This is my first stainless steel sink as I have always had Cast Iron. I was afraid I would have to clean it constintly as we have hard water. I find that I only wipe it out about every third day just to keep it under control. I love the sink grids. It is so nice to have, I wish I would have had them with my other sinks. Even though the purpose is to keep scratches off the bottom, I find it very handy to set our sponge on to dry. When cooking dinner I can set my stainer on the sink grid and strain my pasta with out having to hold both in my hands. And I love the larger deeper side for hiding my dirty dishes while cooking dinner wihtout the fear of scratching it. The 60/40 partition is the perfect size portion in my opinion. One larger side for very large pans, yet the smaller side is adequate for most sink needs. I've only had the sink for a few weeks, but should I have issues I will come to update. I doubt anyone who walks in would guess that the sink we put in was as inexpensive as it was. It looks like we paid a whole lot more for it.

Looks good and installs pretty easily. The packaging is top notch with the extra cardboard guarding and being wrapped in a quality scratch resistant bag. The only reason I’m only giving 4 stars is not due to the quality, but the lack of info on the dimensions. The corners have a larger radius than what I expected. But, it still works well overall.

I was really impressed with the quality of this sink. It is beautiful and if I had gone to the store to purchase it I would have chosen this sink.

Very happy with this sink. Very heavy duty, I didn't want the modern sinks that are square as too many people commenting that they are hard to clean and get into the corners. This is a quality large sink.

Anneme hediye aldım evye harika. Temizlemesi kolay kullanımı çok rahat. İz bırakmıyor. Hacmi çok geniş. Elde bulaşık yıkamayı zaten çok severim ama bu evyeyi aldıktan sonra bulaşık makinası neredeyse hiç kullanmıyoruz… Kesinlikle tavsiye ediyoruz…
