Has potential, but very easy to make very uncomfortable
Plantar fasciitis is miserable. I don’t have it now, but I’ve had it in the past. I haven’t forgotten the horror of figuring out how to keep my foot at a right angle while sleeping, so I was happy to try out a product that might save me a lot of relief if I ever get it again. This splint works, but it’s… both frustrating to put on and difficult to make comfortable. The splint ships as a straight bar, which you then bend to your needs. They don’t really say where along the splint you should bend it. There’s nothing written on the splint indicating which end goes over the toes vs the leg either. I had to compare the splint to the pictures to figure out that the part that goes over the legs has 3 long straps sewn to it whereas the part for the toes has an empty buckle loop. I had also accidentally pulled the pad that goes on top of the foot free from the brace, and since the instructions don’t mention it, I ended up initially putting it on without the pad, which was very uncomfortable.I realized my mistake, inserted the pad, put it back on, and… still uncomfortable. The place I bent the metal bar dug into the top of my foot when my toes pressed against the straps away from the ground. It felt like it would bruise if I weren’t comfortable. The straps that are supposed to go under my feet kinda stopped around the edges of my feet, so that seemed a bit off and may have impacted things. Getting the splint appropriately secure around my ankle and leg was also difficult. It seemed they felt loose no matter what I did.I fiddled with it several ways, but I didn’t quite make it comfortable. The foot was well-positioned in the splint to prevent movement, but I expect some level of comfort for something meant to be worn while sleeping. I’ve not given up on it yet, but I’m not convinced I would want to use it for securing my foot while I sleep.

Fully Adjustable Night Splint
The three straps and bendable metal brace make it easy to adjust the devise according to my need. It kept my foot flexed as it was supposed to during the night, but in the early morning the fabric would irritate my skin. I found myself removing it by 4 a.m. It helped relieve some of the pain after two weeks but not all.

Difficult to put on and needs more strap for thick calves
Maybe I just don’t get it, as this item came with no instructions. Relying on reviews and product photos, I figured it out. Still, I had a difficult time with this brace. I feel like you have to be highly flexible or have a second person around to get this fitted properly. The top strap that goes around the calf should be longer for those with thicker calves and want to put this on over pajamas.Does this product work? Somewhat. But with the amount of effort necessary to get it working, and me not being a doctor, I’m not sure if it’s safe for me to wear it all night. I wish the straps wrapped and connected in the front instead of the back. I don’t see how anyone with even a slight level of limited mobility could manage this.

I have two... that's how well it works.
I wanted to get two of these because both of my feet are hurting from plantar fasciitis. When I'm in bed, resting, I put these on because I know this works better when you can just have them on for a long period of time. The brace helps keep my feet in place, stretching my heel area. This helps reduce the pain as it continues to stretch that painful area. It takes a bit of time to get used to, especially initially when you try to figure out how to put it on your foot. Once you get the hang of it, it helps relieve that tension in your foot. The velcro is very strong, it's easily adjustable, and it keeps your feet in place. It is comfortable enough for me to put this on every night before bed.
