I am serious about my hair products and styling tools...I want the best styling tools to give me a salon results. I have natural 3C/4A type hair that is almost waist-length. It's a pain to blow-out my hair...usually takes 20 to 25 minutes with a top-notch blow-dryer like T3 Cura Luxe and Pattern Beauty's dryer. Everyone knows the key to a great blowout is how great you blow-dry your hair before styling it. I literally timed how fast it took my hair to get dry with this hair-dryer....it took approximately 11 minutes and 26 seconds. Even then I think it was user error on the 1st section of my hair because I part my hair into 4 sections before drying it which lengthened the time of drying my hair. I learned don't get cute this dryer by going to the highest speed of this blow-dryer...it was drying my hair quicker than I anticipated. I used the next highest speed at the highest heat setting for a majority of the time and only used the highest speed setting to quicken-up the drying process of each section after my hair was basically straight. Then I used the cold blast on each section of my hair after drying it to ensure my hair was dry...again only 11 minutes and 26 seconds. That's a record time for me and it was one of the best blowouts I've ever gave myself. Like my hair was flowing, silky and had so much body after styling it with my T3 flat-iron. I went to lunch with friends the next day and they thought I had a bomb weave in my hair...they were like "....is that all your hair or is it extensions???". When I told them no this is all me...they were like "wow" and in disbelief. Thanks Tymo I believe this is the best hair dryer on the market...do yourself a favor and click the purchase button.

If you have thick 4c hair the attachment pops off a lot. I brought it because I seen ads of it working on my hair type. I’m not going to knock it but I will let you know if you have high density 4c hair it sucks. I kept it because it works on my daughter hair and she a type 3 girly

The best blowdryer ever . I have 4c type hair. I goes to a hairstylist once a month. I paid less on my TYMO. My hair usually requires a two step progress when am doing it at home with a mediocre hair dryer. First I'll blowdry and then flat iron to get the hair look I want. But with TYMO Air its a one step progress and you done. Its dry your hair as well as flat iron as you go. Its have various temperatures sitting that you can adjust too and the sitting is place on the back of the handle that is not in your way. You have three attachments that is magnetic strong once place on and hold. Not like the others that flies off in a minute. This hair dryer is so lite. Weight next to nothing. Very much recommended. You want regret.

This is a great hair dryer. I love the heat settings and how even the lower heat settings effectively stretch and dry my hair. However, the magnetic attachments keep falling off while I’m drying my hair, which is frustrating.

Great hair dryer. Bought this one for my daughter for a birthday gift. She loves it. She was happy to get the diffuser with it.

I mainly bought it for the diffuser as was debating between this and the Dyson. Unfortunately, Dyson does not sell specific attachments, which is a bit silly and annoying. Found this Tymo gem whilst Amazon surfing. Small and lightweight with a sufficient long cord. It has a concentrator and an adjustable diffuser (also a comb thing that I don't use). Dries hair quickly when I want to wear it straight. You can control the temperature and the flow rate, which is important to create non-frizzy waves when diffusing. Don't think it's super quiet though - sounds like a hairdryer!
