Know what you're getting
Most likely going to be compared to Reflectix or a comparable product from your local hardware store. Its in the ballpark but you'll have to compare the value to decide for yourselfI would say this is going to be effective for those wanting an easy-to-cut, lightweight material to make window reflectors but don't count on it to be an amazing insulator. Its just a bunch of foil bubbles after all, it is a little easier to work with then the other reflective insulators I have... which is nice. Its nice they included the adhesion dots but personally have trouble finding a use for them, most areas I'd apply this material I'd want to be temporary. Permanent installs -- I'm not sure the dots would hold long.I'd say look at pricing during your purchase, this is a few dollars cheaper per SQ Ft for me locally. Since I only need a reflector its a good fit

Works well
I am using this to insulate my bedroom from the cold of some windows in the room. I am of the opinion that the glass reverberates cold into the room from the window. I have noticed when I put my hand on the glass of the window that you can feel how cold the weather is outside. There's no insulation there I have applied this on the windows with the included book and loop sticky tapes. You apply the hooks to the window frame and tape and in a loop side with the tape on the insulating panels. But believe that this reflects your body heat, as well as the heat of your heaters, if you're using them and any other heat sources to amplify that. They are shiny and I think this will do that. All in all, I have gotten good results from these panels and they are at a good price and there's plenty of them in each , to do several windows. This is a good product and I do recommend it for those trying to save money on their winter heating bill. They also has some noise dampening qualities.

Good thermal insulation for a variety of purposes
This is a good thermal insulation kit that can be used for a wide variety of purposes. You can insulate a windows, RVs, garage doors, etc. Depending on your needs, you may need multiple packs -- to insulate a full standard size garage door, for example. The material is good at blocking heat and cold. The kit includes 65 adhesive pads, which you can use to secure the thermal insulation to whatever surface you're working with. The material is also easy to cut to size. We have several small, high windows in a bedroom that we were not using (the room also has a much larger window), and we wanted to block both heat/cold and light from coming in these smaller windows. This kit worked well for that purpose. It could also work well as a garage door insulator -- but for a two car garage, but you will need several kits. Overall this is a good option if you're in need of thermal insulation.

Insulation without the itching
I used this material for insulating the inside of my garage door, and on the inside of metal cabinets in my garage to keep products that can't freeze warm. I live in the North East US and had used the pink foam insulation on the inside of my garage doors. I had glued them to the doors but even with a top brand adhesive, they kept falling off. I covered that foam insulation with this produce. It serves not only to improve the performance of the existing insulation but also helps the existing foam adhere to the door. Use in cabinets seems to be safer and the foil surface makes the insulation durable so it will last a long time.

Not impressed
I live in an old double-wide. This reflective type of insulation is pretty much the only insulation we can use between the walls and on the windows. I was expecting the same quality of reflective insulation we purchase at Home Depot. This is definitely not it. It is super thin and where is the foam core? Plus the 'self adhesive' is basically just Velcro dots. For $20 more I can purchase a roll of better quality reflective insulation and adhere it to my windows using Gorilla tape, which is what I've been doing for the past 10 years anyway. I thought that this would make things quicker and easier with the sheets being pre-cut. This isn't the value it looks like.
