I used this sealant to address some minor water seepage on a basement concrete wall. The good news is that after two coats, the wall is completely dry, so the product definitely works and creates a solid waterproof barrier. It dried perfectly clear with no yellowing. The reason for docking one star is the consistency. The sealant is very thin and has a watery texture, which makes it difficult to apply without it running and dripping, especially on a vertical surface. It required a lot of patience and care to get an even coat without making a mess. Overall, I'm happy with the final result, but be prepared for a slightly challenging application process.

Bought this to seal up old tiles in the bathroom because the landlord's alternative was to rip it out and put in one of those plastic surrounds. I love the older tile look, so I didn't want to do that. I found the easiest way to apply it was with a cheap nylon bristle paint brush. Then to even the coverage out and really squish it down into the grout, I used a small dense foam paint roller. Be sure to tape things off though because it's super slippery and I got the wall a couple of times haha. I did 3 coats and gave extra attention to corners and uneven damaged areas. The smell wasn't too bad, but it's hard to ventilate a small room like that and so I did wear my respirator. I'm also sensitive to fumes and chemicals so I just didn't want to chance it. Left the room with the window open and the door closed for at least 24hrs. Smell was almost gone about 30hrs later, and I couldn't smell a thing by the end of day two. I bought this a few months ago and kept it completely sealed. Thankfully I didn't run into any issues with it having already started solidifying in the bucket before I started. The lid is really hard to get back on though with a good seal. I'm not confident the remaining will last now that the manufacture seal has been broken. This product is absolutely truly clear. However, if something changes colour when it gets wet with water, expect it to look that same way once it's coated with this. But as long as that doesn't bother you, then you're good. You can see the texture from your application process, so be aware of that when you're applying it. If you can see brush strokes when it's wet, those will remain visible once it dries.

Perfect spul, voor de zekerheid 3 lagen gedaan zoals geadviseerd. Het is een soort van rubber laag als het eenmaal droog is, echt goed spul.
