Paul stammets is a bit controversial at times, but this book is good to have around.

Valuable information, if you're a detail oriented and organized person. There are videos on U tube with disinformation, so this book can plug "leaks" in your game. Example: follow U tube small mushroom farm in your house video advice or carefully read this book and knock 3 weeks off the grow cycle and reduce AC costs by optimizing substrate colonization temperature."For Beginners" If you've never grown mushrooms before, you probably need to watch a few videos and buy some equipment to make best use of the information in this book. This is not a glamorous coffee table book.

This book is old but gold!A little complex, but makes sense to me.

Paul Stamets leaves no stone unturned on providing his knowledge about cultivating mushrooms at home. Follow the instructions and you'll have no problem

This is great. Tons of pictures & info here.On a different note, delivery instructions were not followed. This large book was stuffed inside our mailbox & was damaged because of that delivery error.

Useful as a text, and as a quick reference. Covers the basics of mycology, commercial production, and typical growth parameters for many popular species as well as contaminants.
