Blohm&Voss BV 222 Wiking diecast 1:200 model aircraft (Amercom LB-22)

Excellent model of what in reality was a gigantic German WW2 "flying boat". At 1:200 scale, this is a large model and not out of place alongside 1:72 scale models. Received the packaged aircraft in first rate packaging\condition. Solid body with good detail. All the antennas on the nose and body are in the correct position and complete. The gun turrets on the tops of the wings are correct and in one-piece! 6-engined props, 3 on each wing. Good to see that historical accuracy is portrayed with the swastika on the tail-fin. That gives the product 5-stars. Good solid and secure display stand with aircraft info. Amercom have surpassed themselves with this lesser-known WW2 aircraft. Thumbs-up for a great product. Well worth the price.

Another unusual offering by Amercom. As per my review on the Amercom Junkers 290 the B & V 222 is a must-have for anyone seeking to build up their Luftwaffe collection or if they have a love of flying boats or unusual aircraft types. Again, a cheaply priced model, slightly over-plasticky but good detail and camo scheme. Well worth the money.
