I have been following the author's travel series online for years and was extremely excited to hear she was releasing a book about her home country. After the book arrived two days ago, I decided to just browse a few pages to get a taste of what was inside. Instead of reading a page or two, I ended up reading the entire guide in one sitting. The amount of detail that has gone into the book made this the ultimate guidebook for me. I can't wait to visit Norway at some point and experience so many of these locations first hand. If you have a trip to Norway planned in the future, or if you are like me and just love reading about locations around the world, I recommend adding this book to your personal library!

My wife and I recently traveled to Norway and were lucky enough to have Lisa as one of our tour guides. Now having read this book we are already itching to go back and fully utilizing this guide to the fullest extent. What I love most about the book is she lays everything out in such great detail that someone who has never been to Norway before will have absolutely no problem finding their way around the majestic landscape and cityscapes. The photos she used in the book are breathtaking and highlight how wonderful Norway is. This is a MUST HAVE guide if you are wanting to travel to Norway!

This book is wonderfully written by an author who you can tell knows and loves her country. The book flows wonderfully and has so much valuable information. I definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to know more about Norway and/or are planning a trip. Stentvendt has a way with words describing all the places one might want to visit, and there are so many ! She provides all the information and details you could ask for! She gives suggestions based on how much time you might have to visit and when to visit for what you are searching for in a trip. I struggle to put it down because I want to learn more about this majestic country! The pictures are gorgeous that I can only imagine how these places look in person! I’m ready to pack my hiking gear and my camera!

Moon's Norway travel guide by Lisa Stentvedt is an excellent and detail-oriented guide to Norway. In fact, it's so good, it's most likely the only one you'll need. Having travelled to Norway myself and LOVED it, I recognize the author's carefully chosen itinerary in the "Best of Norway" section. Trust me - that itinerary is on point! It clearly shows that Ms. Stentvedt knows what she's talking about.The guide is choc-full of useful tips and information ranging from cultural insights, adventures for outdoor lovers and handy tidbits for families looking for a fun time in Norway. When I visit Norway again in the future, I will be sure to take this guide with me.
