VERY impressed, especially for the price!
VERY impressed, especially for the price! Definitely wet them before use and keep the packaging the set ships in. The sharp edges are wicked FRAGILE so keep that in mind during both use and handling. All and all an excellent stone set if you need to put or maintain a sharp 'V' feature on an item. One tip to add to those who might be new to stone grits or have a tendency to be 'ham handed' ... you MUST progress up in grits - don't skip a number. The next higher grit only removes the striations made from the previous grit. So go slow and use PATIENCE and you'll achieve a superior result!

Excellent value
I'll update this review more as I use them, but my initial impression from handling these and looking them over is that they are a great quality for the price. I have not used them extensively yet, but I will absolutely update this if they are anything other than "average" and if they are average then they are a great deal, since the price is way lower than I paid for similar comparable items I like. You'll see an "edit" line above this if I have edited the review, I won't change this text or that below whether I edit it or not.I run a gun repair shop and I find this shape of stone extremely useful, I inherited a few of this shape from the previous owner and find they are invaluable from time to time. If I had to have only one stone it would probably be a triangle stone as it can do some tasks that no other shape can, and can do at least a mediocre job of what all the other shapes do. Triangle stone, flat stone and round stone and you have a good solution for any job. These fully fill out the trinagle part of that equation. You get 2x of each grit listed, if that isn't clear in the listing. they come well protected from side impact breakage (which is how these get ruined) in a form fitted foam block inside a small/strong carboard box that fits it exactly: well though out, if a dumb company shipped these loose they would arrive in pieces. All of the grits lined up to the visual and feel of the grits I have on hand. I was paying $7 per piece for norton abrasive triangles and, while I tend to stick to quality brands in life, these at $1 a piece certainly look and feel the same. If they break easily from side-stress in use I would change my opinion as the length is important, but I'll edit the review if that happens.
