Product Review:This is a sturdy SSB at a decent price.The bar is a solid piece with welded supports (some similar products come in sections that require assembly). The padding is comfortable, and I'm able to squat heavier weights without the added stress on my knees or back. I've even been able to overload with heavy hatfield squats without feeling too beat up after.Review Update-Product was shipped initially with a missing component (grip).E.T. Energic customer service was supportive and willing to resolve the issue quickly.

Would love to have given 5 stars but below is why I couldn’t:1) Bar seems sturdy and padding feels nice. *****2) Packaging is extremely poor for an item of this size and weight. *3) The handgrips screw in. One of mine fell out during transit due to poor packaging. *4) Hand grip cannot be replaced, the shipper expect me to ship the entire bar back to get a replacement bar which is probably going to be packages portly again. *5) I do not have a box to ship the bar back because the original box is unusable. *

My son is taking weightlifting this year so this was the perfect addition to our home gym.The bar is heavy even without any weights being added, and it fits into the brackets on most standard gym sets great.The hand grips are metal and require you to screw them into the bar. The padding is covered with a thick material and well maintained.The padding fully covers the neck area and is actually quite comfortable to use.I’m very impressed with this bar and would recommend
