Contrary to common belief, they are nutritionally similar. This is a quality light brown sugar, which has a robust flavor that I usually associate with dark brown sugar. It comes well sealed, and is moist and packs well like brown sugar should. There are some small spots that are extra dark and seem to have more molasses in them (as in the picture), but they do not affect the quality at all. Instead of throwing away the seal on the container, I popped it into the lid, and hope that it will help to make an airtight seal to keep the brown sugar fresh. The canister makes it worth more than what you would pay in the store for a 2 pound unsealable bag of brown sugar, but I’m not sure if it makes enough of a difference to be worth the $12 for this.

It is not the cane sugar but made with cane molasses and it can not be returned!!!

As expected, it's brown sugar. It's quite expensive compared to what I can get in the local stores.

Small but nice that it's not tight compared to bags we open and it gets rock hard. Hoping this helps or else moving ot to a Mason jar

It looks like there are clumps, but they're very soft and just break right apart. The container is great for keeping the sugar fresh so it doesn't harden.Baked up a batch of muffins with oatmeal, nuts etc. They were great. The light brown sugar was perfect for them.
