The OMM Ava Women's Running Jacket is constructed to provide waterproofing and breathability at a light weight. Every element utilised in its construction has been chosen to minimise the garment's weight, resulting in a weight of just 200 grams. Constructed with eVent's DVSTORM fabrics, the jacket is windproof and waterproof to 10m Hydrostatic Head, which means that it is perfect for wearing in moderate rain. The addition of YKK Aquaguard zips provides weather protection at the jacket's closure, and for any items that you wish to carry in your pockets. As well as offering protection from the rain, the Ava is also extremely breathable: it has a breathability rating of 31,000 g/m2/24hrs, making it perfect for use during high energy activities. With such a high breathability rating, the jacket allows moisture within the garment to be transported away from the skin and to the outer environment for a dry, comfortable run. The female specific ergonomic cut ensures that this jacket provides the greatest comfort and the maximum range of motion whilst you run. The new Internal Face Gasket provides a compression system within the hood to create a tight seal around the face for increased water runoff. OMM's new Multi-Cuff Wrist Closure also improves weather protection at the wrist, with a new closure system on the underside of the wrist that works in tandem with the thumb loops to reduce water catchment at the fastening. Meanwhile, the Dynamic Droptail Compression Closure prevents the jacket from riding up when the waist is tightened, resulting in greater comfort and enhanced weather protection.
