If this is what you are looking for for a Holiday read, then this book is perfect.

I was so excited for this book! I love “Things we never got over” by Luce and was expecting a great book, unfortunately this became a DNF (Did not finish). I’ve read about 130 pages and it was so slow, I just didn’t have any motivation finishing this book. Also, I’m kind of disappointed in the covers the author uses for some of her books. TWNGO has a beautiful cover and so will TWHFDD when it releases (I’m still very much exited for that). Might be a good book, but it was so slow I didn’t even want to continue reading:(

Cat is a beautiful and fiery reality tv star who specializes in home renovations. Noah is the grumpy but gorgeous city manager of Merry who has the nickname of Mr. No. Unfortunately most of Merry gets demolished due to flooding from a hurricane. Cat offers help in rebuilding as long as she can film it for her show….the only problem is that Cat and Noah can’t stand one another…until a drunken encounter in a dark alley changes everything.Lucy Score sure knows how to write them steamy! The chemistry between Noah and Cat…🥵 I also love how she portrays the sense of community in Merry that leaves you wishing you lived there. Definitely check out this book if you’re looking for a Christmas-y but spicy read!
