Cool design
This is one of the coolest and most usefully designed fire pits that I’ve ever had the joy of using. I love the idea of storing split wood underneath so it is neatly organized and ready to add to the fire as needed. There is a steel grate at the bottom of the fire bowl to help air circulate underneath and keep the fire going. Use it as a just a fire pit, or convert it to a wood fired grill once some coals are built up and cook up some mouthwatering burgers or whatever. The cooking grill is a good fit and easy to add or remove using the included poker tool. If it is windy out, the spark screen lets me keep the fire going and contain sparks which is nice. The screen has a ring on top to allow it to be lifted when hot, using the poker. I love the overall design of this fire pit, it is so much better than many I’ve seen.

I'm in love
This is absolutely gorgeous both as a firepit and as a table when not in use. It is super easy to transfer from one to the other simply by adding the lid back to the top of the pit to cover. The pit is sturdy made steel and so nice to have on cooler nights. I mean seriously who doesn't love a good time during around the fire in the comfort of your own backyard? There is no ash or smoke due to its propane base so it's super clean and healthy for both you and the environment. The base of the firepit easily hides away a 20lbs propane tank (which is not included but sold at pretty much any convenience store or home improvement store) We used the one we already had right off our grill, and it was super easy to transfer from one to the other. The door provides super easy access to transfer the propane tank in and out as you need. It truly is made to last with a sturdy weather resistant heavy-duty metal. It's extremely stable and i don't at all worry about accidental tip over. They even include a pvc cover for the less climacticly friendly months so it is super easy to keep nice, clean, and solid. It only took me and my husband a few minutes to put together with 4 panels, the top, the control panel and burner plus the pre-assembled gas hose regulator. It was really quiet simple and the instructions were very easy to follow and read. It additionally came with 6.6 lbs of decorative lave rock that burn beautifully without actually burning at all!

Charcoal and wood
I think I buy more fire pits the most people because my family “borrows” them . Our summer season is short in the northeast, so our fire pits get a lot of use. They seldom wear out, but one of my teens or adult kids we’ll take it to a friend’s house, or take it camping and they literally disappear. I really like this one and jokingly threatened them to leave it in my yard. I like the size as it’s 26 inches square and 22 inches high. It’s large enough to be functional, but small enough to be movable. It is steel and a matte black color and it functions as both a barbecue and a fire pit. So I can cook food over charcoal, or I can use wood to roast food or just have a campfire. The fire bowl is a good capacity. I like the wood storage underneath and it has a nice quality spark screen as a safety feature. The only thing I had to add was a waterproof cover in case of rain. I am definitely going to keep an eye on this one, because it’s the nicest one (not the most expensive) we’ve had. Summer is short and this certainly adds some fun evenings.

Do research first.
Disappointed! We had been looking for a fire pit now that the weather is cooling down and thought we had come across a great deal! It was easy to put together but had trouble igniting. Had to hold it for a while for it to catch but could worry with that. The second night we had used it all of a sudden it would click and then the flame would go off but we could still hear the propane. So we would turn the gas knob and it would light again but then continue to go off after just a few minutes. We were very irritated and are in the process of returning.

Love the wood holder
I had the more traditional fire pit which was just the metal pit and that was it. Since I don't have a big area, the storage rack underneath the pit really does come in handy. At first I was afraid the heat from the bottom of the pit would cause an issue with the wood but there is actually a decent amount of space between the pit and the wood. I can easily grab pieces of wood without hurting myself either. I also found that there was room from the shelf to the ground to store more wood too. I recently took this on a camping trip and not only did it come in handy but I found its really easy to hose down and clean too. The poker and lid are definitely a bonus and that lid really does prevent wood from popping out of the pit too.

Easy and Beautiful
Was very east to put together and looks great! My only concern is the instructions dont mention where to put the battery, they dont even mention the battery in the contents! Had i not tinkered around I wouldnt have found the spot. But thats not a big deal and everything works perfectly. Going to be a great addition to my yard!

Hard to assemble
Looks good when all done, but mediocre manufacturing and terrible Instructions make assembly unnecessarily difficult. Also, it would be better to not include the lava stones as they’re not everyone’s taste (I think they are too big and chunky to look good with this style fire pit and bought fire glass). It’s a good price for a gas fire pit, but you definitely get what you pay for.
