NIGHT by-Noble Plastic Ocarina Alto C (Off-White)

Wonderful ocarina. Great tone, easy to play and feels great in the hand. Colour is a little lighter than the picture and is more a mint/turquoise than green proper, but personally I love it! If green isn't your thing, then this model also comes in black and pale yellow/ivory (both easily found on Amazon). This little instrument is extremely sturdy and lightweight, making it ideal for travelling. Traditional ocarinas are usually made from ceramic and can be easily breakable. This one is made from tough plastic and will survive a drop easily. It weighs around 140g, making this an ideal travel companion. Tone is very good, although the top notes take a little bit of extra practice to master - something common to most, if not all ocarinas. Volume is quite loud, and might not be suitable to players living next door to easily offended neighbours! Postage was quite slow, as this was sent from America to the UK. Overall it took about 2 months to arrive. All in all I am extremely pleased with this ocarina. If you are looking for a beginner instrument that wont break the bank, I wholeheartedly recommend this one. If you are a experienced player, and like me wanted something a bit more travel friendly, then this fits the bill nicely. Happy Playing!

As far as musical instruments go, this is sturdy and looks good, but it was hard to use. The sound quality is good, but it is a very difficult instrument to play to produce sounds similar to other wind instruments (like a recorder).

It sounds great except for some airy notes on the higher pitch. But it worth the money. I used it as my main ocarina.

This is a great example of a first ocarina its cheap well made and sounds good The only note is the highest 2 notes aren't quite perfect but for as cheap as it is theres basically nothing to complain about

I ordered this ocarina after reading about how great it is for the price, but upon receiving my order TODAY, it looks like it has had a previous owner. It has multiple scratches on the top and bottom of it, leaving me to think that it was a previous return of a bad owner that has been attempted to be sold as new. This is unacceptable because I paid full price for a new Ocarina and not someones previously used one with their spit included.
