Beautiful and Detailed
From the finish to the weight & balance, this is worth the price.She wrote straight out of the box. The nib is beautiful and laid down a wonderful line with very nice variation.A pleasure to look at and even more so to use.

Beautiful pen.
This is a beautiful pen. It is on the heavy side, but it is well balance. Initially when I filled it with ink, I was getting ink dots, which had never happened to me with other fountain pens that I owe. It seems the cartridge had too much ink, after a couple of days there were no issues. The nib is perfect for my taste. My only issue would be removing the cap off, which takes a little effort. Overall, I am happy with my pen.

Great pen for the money.
I love monteverde pens more everyday. I saw this one and was curious. It was also very cost effective. It is a solid pen and writes very smoothly. I am trying a sparkling ink which blocks most nibs. So far so good. 👍🏿

A joy to write with.
The first thing that I noticed about it is how heavy it feels, which I don't mind. Then the uncapping, capping there is a heavy snap that is required. Personally, I like that because I know it won't fly off accidently. I did try out the included cartridge but usually use the converter and fill it up with bottled ink. Never had any leaking or drying out problems.My first flex nib. Granted, I don't use it as it was intended but, in my case, it is a great way of making bolder lines at will. It truly is a joy to write with and has quickly become one of my favorite fountain pens.

Very irregular flow.
Initially it seamed as if nib had a problem when manufactured. I really had a hard time getting initial flow, even twisted the converter a bit to help get it started and realized it was coming out the side not the center of nib like all my other fountain pens. I kept weighting a full page and doing line tests and eventually it got better. I have used it for several days now and the flow still stops sometimes and I have to open pen up and twist converter to get it flowing again. I do enjoy the feel it is what I was looking for just didn’t expect the flow issue. Hope this helps someone making the choice to buy or not. Take care
