Sturdy and durable
This is sturdy and wide. It has held up to regular use for months. Can be used by a person that is between 250-300 lbs. easily. It was very easy to set up. The quality it very good.

Huge, well made, sturdy, for really large people
Sturdy. Very thick & supportive. Feel secure sitting on it. I’m 365lbs, 5’5”. Only thing is my feet don’t touch when fully sitting back. I have on lowest setting. Very wide. Lots of space on either side. Took some trees to figure out how to lower arm, after together. Works better when seated on it. I haven’t put arm down as lots of room. Bucket secures well. I even had to slightly loosen 2 screws on bucket holder under the seat on one side, to be able to slide the bucket in easily. Still quite secure. Great handle & lid. Bucket not flimsy. Held all night up & down & lots of room left. Recommend highly, but for taller person, definitely. Well constructed. Took me 2 hours to put together. I can’t get on floor so used box to hold while placing together. All parts there. The thing with the duel wrench with the slotted end-horrible for using. Should fit nut, as with other end. Instructions well made. Not complicated. One of the screw holes didn’t want to line up for seat holder. Spouse pushed in in & I was able to finish. He also had to pull-force back rest into holes. Much too narrow. He got it in. Recommend having a strong person for that. Would’ve purchased smaller seat, so feet rest. But for huge people this is a good seat/chair.

Well made but make sure it will fit. See below.
Well made but make sure it will fit. If your toilet base and bowl stick out too much or form a 'V' it may not fit. Because my toilet base does come to a 'V' and the bottom of the bowl is also pointed, the commode hits the toilet when the legs are raised beyond the lowest leg setting but unless you are very tall the lowest setting is fine, but your feet my not touch the floor. I also had to remove the toilet seat underneath the commode because the legs of the commode in the rear were 1/2" off the floor bcuz it touched the seat, so this is now our permanent toilet seating arrangement but everyone finds it comfortable, not just me. Once I removed the toilet seat and set the commode legs on the lowest setting, voila! Not everyone will have the same shape of toilet or it's dimensions. I am 5'6" and my legs are dangling 2" above the floor when set at the lowest hole. But that's ok, if I want a small stool or a block nearby I can have one nearby. We don't really need one. It was easy to get up from even with my legs dangling. I hope it will be easy when I have major surgery this month. The commode must be assembled but it's pretty easy. It has nicely printed directions but you still need some common sense. I think it's well made and it should work fine even if a small block or stool is needed. See the images below once assembled. In the end, it worked for us and we live it. Updated here 3 mos after purchase and after surgery and in recovery. We all still love it! Good value. I just hope it fits your toilet too.

Its prefect for heavy people
Easy to assemble, height adjustments, the width is extra great for plus size, the handle can move which is great if you need extra extra leg room. Sturdy enough for plus size.

Surprisingly comfortable, highly recommended
I recently had knee replacement surgery and was a little concerned about trying to walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night while on my prescription pain pills. I have this sitting right beside the bed. I am a large person, 255 pounds, and this fits me easily with plenty of extra room. It's very comfortable to sit on and the arms are very sturdy and steady. I have not yet tried putting it over the toilet because we don't have room for it to fit over ours, but it has definitely served the purpose I purchased it for. I purchased disposable bags to put in the bucket, and they work just fine with it. I purchased the ones that have the little sheet that turns all the liquid into a gel, and it makes it extremely easy for my husband to clean it in the morning. He just pulls the bag out, knots it and takes it out to the garbage. It is a little bit heavy but not so much that I can't move it. The price was reasonable and I would absolutely purchase this again.

Awesome for a large man
This is a well made portable toilet. It’s works great for my husband (he’s a large man) since he fractured his hip and can’t walk well. Love it!!
