One-Star Review: Critical Issues with Samsung S24 - Unusable for Banking Apps and Security Updates I purchased this Samsung Galaxy S24 (International Version) from Amazon.ae, and I am extremely disappointed with its performance and security. The phone was sold as "New" but has fundamental software issues that make it unreliable and potentially unsafe. The most significant problem is the outdated and un-updatable software. Despite being a brand new, recent model, the phone's Google Play system update is stuck on an outdated version from July 2023. This is a critical security vulnerability, as it means the phone is missing over a year's worth of security patches and bug fixes. Repeated attempts to update the phone have failed. Due to this security issue, the device is unusable with banking applications. My bank's app correctly identifies the security flaw and refuses to run, stating that the device is "rooted" or has a security problem. This is a major inconvenience and a direct result of the phone's compromised software state. The Android security patch level is also outdated, stuck on August 2024. A fully up-to-date device should have a more recent security patch, further highlighting the software's inability to receive proper updates. Based on these issues, I have serious concerns about the legitimacy and quality of this product, especially since it's an "International Version" that should still be able to receive standard security updates. I would like to return this device and would advise others to be cautious. The phone is not fit for purpose and has major security flaws that should not be present in a new device. International (Hong Kong version). Great for the price, no major regrets except the fact this Chinese version do not have esim. Everything else is good.

Phone is awesome But software is mentioned in international version is snapdragon But this is exynos

I would recommend it for performance seekers and daily compact device lovers.
