Not a paid review! Buy it...it is legit!
This device worked wonders with me! Ive been battling cervicogenic dizziness for 4 years. I was going to buy the Saunders unit but opted to give this one a,try. Works great. Im not kidding...eliminated my muscle pain which clearly was due to pinched nerve in neck. This unit does wonders unpinching. May not work for everyone but in my case, life changer

Relief for long term neck pain
I have suffered from neck pain for many years; cervical spondylosis and bulging discs. I used to do decompression therapy (kind of like traction, but more specifically targeted) at the chiropractor. My chiropractor moved away and nobody had the same equipment around here. Then I found this and I wish I had found it sooner. It's nice to get some relief again. It's not a multi thousand dollar professional machine, but it does work well for me. My neck still hurts, and I know I'll just live with that, but it's a lot more tolerable with using this regularly. I chose this unit over the Saunders because the incline starts at 10 degrees instead of 15. I'm no doctor, but my understanding (and experience with this) is that the lower angle works better for the upper cervical area, which is where the worst of my pain is. I do still go to a chiropractor for manual adjustment and he did say that I am easier to adjust since I have been using this ComfortTrac traction device. The one thing I don't like is that the strap is not near as easy to use as the instructional video shows. It was hard to get it to line up evenly across the forehead. You might want to get someone to help you with that. Once it is adjusted snugly, I find that it can be slipped on and off without unfastening it first. If I could change anything about this unit, it would be the way the strap works, but I'm not going to dock it a star for that because really do I love it. One last thing is comfort. Nothing that sits on your occiput and pulls is going to be truly comfortable, but the pain relief is enough that I still tend to fall asleep in this thing. Only for a few minutes at a time, but that says a lot about the comfort level! Yes, it was expensive, but it was money well spent!

The Pros & Cons
I'm 64 years old, I have Cervical Spondolysis which causes my left hand to go numb. The numbness is so bad that it wakes me up 2-3 times night. At times my arm would get BURNING HOT at night and wake me. It got to a point where I was apprehensive about going to sleep knowing that within a few hours I'd awaken with searing pain down my arm. I purchased this item on recommendation of a physical therapist. Initially I used it twice a day. 15 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes at night. Now only 30 minutes at night. From day one the burning pain disappeared! Over the first 3 days the night time numbness decreased each night, then it went away. I've now had it almost 3 weeks and the daytime numbness in my hand has improved 50-75%. Overall I'm very satisfied with the results. The unit is expensive, but the relief it provides has been well worth it. The unit is very easy to setup. Watch the brief video on the Amazon ad page and you won't even need to read the instructions. The only drawback ... After about a week it started loosing tension. I'd pump it up to the desired setting, sometimes it stays, at other times it slowly deflates. Once in a while it deflates immediately. It's no big deal to reinflate but at a price point of nearly $400 I expect better quality. Thats the only reason I gave it 4 stars vs 5. Even with that issue I give this this item a strong buy recommendation. It has helped me tremendously! ADDENDUM: This product has worked miraculously for me. It's been about a month since I submitted this review and the progress I've made since has been phenomenal. I have virtually ZERO pain, numbness & tingling in my left arm and hand. I now only use this device for 15 minutes once or twice weekly.

Great product, Amazing Customer Service
I bought this to relieve pain from a herniated disc in my c-spine. The device has 3 different incline settings which let you target different parts of your neck, depending on where the issue is. I had done traction previously in the physical therapists office and this is comparable to, if not better than what they had. I was using it for a few weeks when the pump started gradually losing pressure so that I had to keep pumping every second or two to maintain pressure. I emailed ComfortTrac customer service and got a reply in a couple hours to set up a time to talk. They called me at the time specified and we talked through the issue and they sent me a replacement pump, with absolutely zero hassles. The pump was easy to replace and now it works great. If you are looking for a traction device, this one is easy to use and made by a company that truly does stand behind their 3 year warranty. I can't recommend highly enough. Word to the wise - don't overdo it! Look up the recommended protocols and gradually ramp up the time and pressure. The first day I had it I went a little too crazy for too long at too high a pressure and gave myself a headache. I use a FIIT app to track intervals and do some time on, then a short rest. After my initial mishap, I started at 1 min on / 30 sec off for 5 intervals, at 10-15psi 2x a day. I have gradually increased the amount of time to 2 min on and the number of intervals to 8. It isn't a magic cure - but it does help for me especially because I find my neck hurts more the more time I spend upright, so countering that pressure is key to things not getting worse.

Get something else
I got this hoping to help with my neck discomfort, and this product arrived damaged from the outside, since there is nothing to protect the unit itself. I am not even sure if I got a refurbish unit or what, but the product left much to desired. The pump wand (?) would not go past 20 when someone is laying on the product, also, the unit was unable to adjust the height angle to adapt to each person's need. Also, after a few more tries, the pump has a weird noise, like plastic creaking/screeching noise, which makes the unit very unpleasant to use. Do your homework first. I would not get this, spending a good fortune but still not getting the desired outcome of it.
