NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Jumbo Eye Pencil, Blendable Eyeshadow Stick & Eyeliner Pencil - Black Bean (Black)

I have always enjoyed using this brand of eye makeup, and this was the first time I noticed that they also make Matte finishes. Most of the pencils I have used had a little bit of shimmer which I do like this pencil does not have shimmer. It goes goes on super easy , it glides it’s so creamy and easy to blend, but it’s not too soft …. I already put it in my subscriptions, it’s the best “no make up look “ pencil that I’ve used yet !

LISTEN!!!!!! I DO NOT GIVE THIS PRODUCT A 5, BUT I HAVE THAT LISTED SO MY REVIEW WILL BE MORE LIKELY TO STAY RELEVANT. A lot of reviewers have mentioned the fact that there is no way to twist or push the rest of the product out of the tube after what is exposed is used. Many others assume that what you see is all you get. This is NOT TRUE. The tube is FULL. I simply could not believe they would charge 5.00-6.00 bucks for half a fingertip worth of product, and I was right. I shined a flashlight around it and it is opaque all throughout (it is 5 grams, after all). As presented below or somewhere, I took a sharp blade and started carving away at the bottom portion of the tube to confirm my suspicion. It appears that the only way to access the rest is to actually “sharpen” the plastic itself until more is exposed, or in my case, carve away at it. In all fairness, I have not seen anywhere in the listing a specification that there is a mechanism to expose more in a conventional way (nor how much product you’re actually receiving). Tin-foil hat conspiracy incoming, I think it is designed this way to get you to come buy from them again sooner under the impression that it is all used. Technically, they are giving you what you paid for, they are just making it extremely discouraging to get your money’s worth out of it. I don’t know. Maybe that’s a stretch. In all seriousness, I would give the product a 3/5 simply because of the design. Everything said about its characteristics by others seems accurate enough. Really like the color and texture of this pencil, but there's no way to twist it up and put out more product as you use it. I'm not sure if I got a faulty one or if that's just how this brand is. I would still buy it since it's so pretty and I'd just use a liner brush to get it out of the tube, I guess.

I really like this eye pencil! It glides on smoothly and is super easy to apply, even for quick makeup mornings. I love how it makes my eyes look bigger and brighter instantly. The formula is creamy but stays in place well, and it works perfectly for both everyday looks and more dramatic eye makeup. Overall, it’s a reliable, affordable product that I’ll keep using.

This review is for "Cottage Cheese", which is a shimmery white. About me: 40 something, barely emerging fine lines (so far so good!), dry, rosacea prone skin. Sensitive eyes. Dark hair, dark eyes, fair skin (alabaster). I love jumbo eye pencils. I think they are great way to add some color- whether all over lid, or as an eye liner. Creamy eye pencils just make it easy to quickly apply some color without spending much time doing so. I love the creamy aspect to jumbo eye pencils, and I find that they rarely irritate my sensitive eyes. I usually use 100% Pure brand for creamy eye pencils, but they have done away with them. So I have been trying out different brands as I find them. I bought a few colors from this collection, as the add on price made it easy and budget friendly to do so. I love white or super light eye color. My skin is fair, cool, and slightly pink. This is a great color if you like a very soft, shimmery white. It adds just a little shimmer with a hint of white. I thought it was going to be my go-to cream pencil as I really like to just take a quick swipe of white to my lids to perk them up before heading out the door. The color is nice, but it doesn't quite stand out, like it is almost similar to my skin tone. I have applied it directly to my skin, and I have used it with a primer and powder. I'd say it definitely needs the latter for staying power. Sadly, the product makes my eyes feel weird after a short period of time. Kinda tired feeling, kinda itchy.. meh. While application is creamy, it does tug a little on the skin. I find myself applying it then smoothing it out with my finger as gently as possible. It doesn't apply strong enough to create a visible line. So if you wanted to use it as a defined eye liner, you may not be successful in doing so. I also have a darker color which I use this for, and it really just applies a soft sweep of color rather than a line. I think these are best as an eyes shadow, or as a highlighter. As for container.. so once you get through the exposed product, you can only reach more of it by sharpening it. It really could have a turn base to move product up rather than people having to use a large sharpener to cut away at the hard casing. Sharpening is fine if the material around the product is conducive to easy sharpening without losing integrity of product or patience of user. This material is not a great choice for that.

I love these eye pencils. They glide on smoothly and rival eye pencils I’ve used from much more expensive brands. I use these in lieu of eyeshadow and in lieu of eyeliner and let the eye pencil be both. I love the colors and they are at a great price point. Highly recommend.

I have been searching for an eyeliner/shadow stick forever that was actually metallic and that would easily glide on. I have spent a lot of $$ and never found any good ones. Until this one. I love it (the silver) as it just glides on easily and is beautiful and metalic and on top of that is extremely cheap. I will always buy this/ they have found a new lifelong customer. I’m so excited. 🙌🏽

An absolute staple in my makeup bag. They way the white liner in your water line makes your eyes pop is crazy, and you really can't beat the price. It glides on so smoothly and softly and dries quickly so it won't budge. Overall great quality - you don't need to spend any more for the same effect.
