Really Great Pillow
This is a really great pillow. One side is soft and the other side is a bit stiffer, so you can choose your preference (I personally like the soft side). After using this pillow, I threw away all my old cheap pillows that wasn't as comfortable as this one. The pillow is very soft and doesn't hurt my neck, like my old cheap pillows. This pillow allows me to wash the outer casing, just in case I drool through my pillowcase, which is great.Overall, this is a great pillow that's very comfortable. I went from a cheap pillow to this and the difference was night and day for me.

"I've got a $200 pillow, but a $50 head!"
... I joked to my wife after spending the first, restless night with the Bedgear Frost."No," she replied without missing a beat, "until you get a haircut, you've got a $2 head." Picking up on her subtle plea for me to maintain my clean-cut appearance, I visited my barber, after which I was even better prepared to get close to my new pillow. To my dismay, the next three nights were similarly fitful. Exhausted, I returned to my old $40 pillow on the fifth night. Upon hearing I'd given up on my nocturnal trials, my 9 year old son quickly called dibs on the abandoned headrest. He sleeps like a baby on it.Figures.The Frost is undoubtedly well made. It's soft, surprisingly heavy, and has a distinctly cooling feel when you touch it. That heat-nullifying sensation lasts a few minutes until it inevitably reaches an equilibrium with your head temperature - because despite having purposeful layers of various high tech foams and patented air vents in the sides, this pillow (like all other pillows) operates according to the laws of physics, not magic. Unless your pillow is actively cooled with fans or a water pump or a tame yeti that blows its icy breath on it all night, your pillow is going to get warm. Period. Is the Bedgear Frost worth $200, though? Every sleeper is different, so this may be your ultimate ticket to dreamland. All I know is that it's hard to put a price on a good night's rest - no matter WHAT your head's worth.

A good pillow, but still a pillow
So, this pillow isn't filled with gold, despite what the price might seem to suggest. It's a better-than-average pillow in my opinion, but still not revolutionary enough to justify a $200 price tag (at time of writing) in my opinion. The pillow is very comfortable to the touch, and very clearly well-made and high quality. It's about as "cooling" as a pillow can get, but in my opinion, the air vents on the side are more of a gimmick rather than actually useful (especially if you use a pillow case). While the outside cover of the pillow is technically washable, it seems weird sleeping on a very nice, white pillow without a pillowcase, so that's a hurdle to get over if you really want to take advantage of the full "cooling" claims. At the end of the day though, the pillow will warm up like any other pillow over time as you lie on it, but it genuinely is better than most at not getting really warm. The pillow has different firmness depending on the side, which is nice for options, but inconvenient if you like to flip your pillow over to the cold side – I have the 3.0, which is already really thick, so the firm side is too much for me, so I *have* to leave it on the soft side when sleeping or my neck hurts. Overall, this is a very well-made pillow with some unique features, but there are downsides to it as well. Even if I *did* like everything about it, however, I would feel that it was probably not a great value for the cost, so I can't really recommend this pillow over other nice ones given its price, unless you are a very hot sleeper and are okay with that price.

Nice pillow but not worth the price
I’m a hot sleeper so I just couldn't pass up the chance to try this pillow.I will say that it's very comfortable. It's a medium firm softness with a very high quality cover that does stay much cooler during the night than my other pillows. I did find myself flipping it every so often, but short of an actual pillow with a fan mounted in it, I'm not sure you can get much better than this lol.The only obvious downside is the price. I was expecting literal clouds that stayed perpetually cool, but was disappointed to find that this was just a higher end pillow that was way overpriced. I think half the cost would be more appropriate.Either way, it's been fun to try, but still didn't replace my nightly go-to.

It's a third of your life. Spend the money
I love this pillow! I have gone through several memory foam pillows and have grown accustomed to having a heavy, supportive pillow. This one is a bit different because it seems to be filled with shredded memory foam, but it still retains the weight. It stays very cool at night, which is enabled by vents throughout the sides of the pillow as well as cooling strips sewn into the surface of the pillow. It is very soft yet very supportive and hasn't gotten lumpy or out of shape. I find myself reaching for it over my other pillows because it is just the right combo of heavy, cool, and supportive. The sizing guide on the listing is also very useful for picking which pillow is best for you. Overall, I know this pillow seems expensive, but let's be real here. You spend a good chunk of your life sleeping. It's worth it to enhance your sleep and this pillow accomplishes that. Get one and enjoy it!

Surprisingly Comfortable
I was fully prepared to feel just “meh” about this pillow. I have the size 0.0 and didn’t expect it to be comfortable despite its claims. The first night I had it, I put a clean pillow case on it and prepared to toss a turn. Imagine my surprise when I had the best sleep I’ve had in a very long time. The pillow is somewhat small to me (I have a big head) and I expected it to go flat. It provides a surprising amount of support though. It seemed cool enough although the cooling effect didn’t last long. But let’s talk about the elephant in the room — It’s a $200 pillow. I typically wouldn’t spend that much money for a single pillow but based on my newly satisfying sleep I would say it’s worth the expense. I’ll update my review if my head turns this pillow into a pancake but for now I’m ridiculously pleased with my pillow.
