Chateau Spill Red Wine Stain Remover, Biodegradable, Chlorine Free, 4-Ounce Bottle

I recently bought a new 100% wool OKA rug for £1,500 along with a cream armchair in a boucle weave from Nkuku. I am not rich and these were huge purchases for me. Fast-forward 6 weeks of admiring my new purchases, I come down in the morning to find someone had kicked over a glass of red wine wine on the rug, splashing the side of the chair. We had guests and no one fessed up, although I suspect the culprit was actually canine. The stain was totally dry and I thought all hope was lost. I hit Amazon in desperation and bought a bottle of this. Reader, it is A MIRACLE WORKER. It is so easy to use: you dampen the stain with cold water, spray this on, and watch magic happen. It's expensive for a little bottle but so worth the money. It has no smell, is completely colourless so safe on light fabrics and it does an amazing job.

This works. Red wine over a beige carpet, not good! Follow the instructions and maybe do two applications, but it will come out. Can't see any trace of the stain.

The stain remover works really well on red wine stains that have been left untouched for a few days. It does not work well on stains where you have previously tried to lift the stain using bicarb, so leave the stain alone before you use this.

I am getting old and spills of wine get more frequent. I have tried lots of promised solutions. Finally, a product that works, I have already ordered a second bottle and will try never to be without instant access to a supply. Such a relief to find this great product.

I knew this product would be useless when I read that after application the item being treated should be incorporated inti the general laundry and machine wash; how is one supposed to do that with vertical window blinds?. I suggest that if the stained item is machine washable that one uses Vanish, almost certain to be as effective and less than half the cost.

Big glass of red wine on the go, I sneezed just before taking a gulp and the stuff went everywhere. Someone had mentioned this to the other half so we invested. It duly arrive and was put to task right away. We used a plain coloured cloth, dabbed this on and it removed all evidence of my crime from the walls, furniture and carpet right away. Since then, it's been out of the cupboard twice to attend to other wine issues and it work a treat. I've only marked it down because you don't get much for your buck......
