Love This Laptop - But Not Perfect for Everyone
I don't have too much to say about it. It runs about as well as my PC at home, if not better. I've used it to play AAA titles and MMOs in the late evening while on trips out of town, to do work for college, coding & my job. It's a great laptop. A few things to consider. While the numpad that's build into the touchpad is neat at first... it's just a nuisance when your catch your hand on it while gaming & then you're hitting random buttons on accident. Also, the resolution isn't 16:9, it is 16:10. You're going to have issues getting the full screen to be filled for some games & you're going to lose 1-2 inches of screen to black-bars in games such as Elden Ring. However, I feel like the 16:10 resolution provides for a more compact laptop shape. I have a 16:9 laptop & it feels so lopsided to use or carry around. This one feels great. Plus you have more vertical space for say, writing a program in VSCode or the like. So it's a bit of a give & take there. PSA - I'm told ASUS customer service is horrible these days. If you have any issues with your laptop, please be warned you might be best off seeking other routes for repairs. Even if you are in warranty. There's plenty of videos on Youtube about it. Gamers Nexus is the one that alerted me to the potential issue.

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! AVOID THIS LAPTOP!
While I intended on writing my opinion, I'll let my daughter's words speak for themselves: After researching gaming laptops with decent specs and sturdier looking hardware, this laptop kept being recommended. Bought it just about 2 months ago and a month later, it's having performance issues out of the blue. I hadn't dropped it or damaged it, and everything software-wise was updated. I just sat down at my desk one afternoon to play some games, and it lagged so badly I couldn't even move in-game. Opening a different window caused the whole screen to glitch out for several seconds. And when I say lag, I'm talking extreme lag (when playing Honkai Star Rail of all games--I never played anything intense like first-person shooters) where the FPS kept dropping and spiking between 6 to 30, making my games ultimately unplayable. But the weird thing was that this happened both while my laptop was plugged in and charging or if it was unplugged and it wasn't on energy saver mode. Super weird, especially considering that just the day before, it was running smoothly. After scouring the internet for causes and trying all the software troubleshooting out there, including ASUS's own recommendations, (making sure everything was updated, manually turning off CPU boost, adjusting fan curves, checking power and performance settings, lowering my display from 240 hz to 60 hz, even updating my BIOS) I noticed my CPU was clocking at 95-96 degrees Celsius and stayed that way when gaming. Adjusting fans, power settings, everything—did absolutely nothing. I stumbled upon a few sources saying my temps and performance could be caused by poor thermal paste and liquid metal application, which ASUS ROG laptops are notorious for having, apparently. I didn't want to risk reapplying it myself or asking a third-party repair store to do it and nullifying my warranty, so I called ASUS support and explained my entire situation. And they basically gave me the same troubleshooting solutions I had already tried. When I told them this, they said they'd send me to advanced troubleshooting once I filled out their form. They also suggested sending it in for repairs, but I told them I literally can't go without a laptop for 7-10 business days (without counting the shipping time and weekends) because I need it for my university work. So, I asked if it was possible I could get a replacement, and they said, "We don't offer replacements for this model." Excuse me, I PAID $2300 for a GAMING laptop that cannot even run low intensity games 2 MONTHS OUT OF THE DAMN BOX. I am OWED a functioning laptop at this point, especially when the company says these things are supposed to last several YEARS. And as of today, ASUS support told me they'd get back to me within 2 business days, and it's 2 days OVER that time limit and still nothing. "Grateful for the opportunity to assist you," my ass. Also, a small thing, they kept spelling my last name wrong on every email they sent, even AFTER I corrected them...So that's just a cherry on top. To anyone looking to buy this laptop or anything from ASUS, just DO NOT. Save your time and money because their products are GARBAGE right of the box and their customer service is horrible. Takes a lot to get her angered; congratulations, ASUS.

Worthy device if money's not that big of a problem!
I love the fact that the laptop has a desktop-level processor along with a 4060 driver to unleash its potential (Although 4060 is bare minimum for gaming in today's market). I love the flashiness (USP of ROGs) and opted for an ROG as I had one before (Strix Hero 2) and the compliments I got along with my usage experience has been top-notch - Decided my next rig should be a ROG device as well and well, here I am with the new one! Oh, and the display, ROGs display has been one of the best I've come across and this rig with its 240Hz WQXGA display is stunning! The only reason I'd mark it down by a star is for the logo being engraved and not supporting RGB and the trackpad on a high-priced device not getting the numpad feature. Numpad and RGB logo is something I'd miss from my Hero 2! But overall, a nice and much awaited update! I am happy with the purchase and I'd say, if you need a laptop which is amazing for its use case, has an amazing quality and great design that could turn heads (trust me, this is one of the reason I stick with the ROG), this is a fabulous device you could spend on.

Great gaming laptop!
The specs are great, it’s more than most gamers will ever need! Fast, responsive, the graphics & QHD screen resolution are beautiful. Built in speaker sound is just ok, you can make adjustments to improve quality or simply connect to a bluetooth speaker to level up your audio expedience. The fans do a good job keeping it cool but it does get very warm when running high performance, not bad though. Personally I spent way too much time researching for the best of the best gaming laptops in this price category and I can confidently say that I’m really happy with my purchase & selection! Honestly i’d give this ROG Strix an 8 out of 10!

These products are imported from US. So the warranty is not covered in UAE. Only seller warranty is there i.e contact seller if any issue occurs. Product is genuine and is like a beast. It handles everything with ease. Great performance as per specs.
