We added an extension phone by using this splitter on an existing phone line. The connection is clear and works perfect.

I thought I would buy a better phone line splitter, and I'm glad I did.The two RJ-11 out-jacks have extremely tight fit. Very Well made.the included short dongle is a professional sign.

Basically, this is a dead simple device and there are tons of them... most with pretty bad reviews. This one had some bad reviews but a lot of reasonable ones. It works. It is NOT REALLY worth the price considering what you are getting but it is cheaper than many of them and it does work.

It works

Easy plug in. . I plugged the included tail into my phone base station. One of the other sides was from my wall outlet and the other side plugged into my FAX. Calls route to both my phone and my FAX. I have a shutoff switch for the FAX.

Unfortunately, my 60-70 year old phones are still going while the new desktop units last about 2 years (with the screens lasting even shorter times). My newest ones DON’T have two modular outlets for the phone line AND the fax link to the computer. This solves that issue neatly and the cord stem is long enough so that it clears the base of the unit.

Splits a single line into two seperate lines of the same number so you can have a phone and fax connected to the same jack with the same number.

They’re fine especially if you can’t find in your hardware stores, I usually order from Amazon anyway.
