What a CD. The famous Brasilian poet, Vinicius de Moraes, and the dusky voice of Ornella Vanoni in a perfect combination and sung in Italian. I cant even begin to list my favorites on this CD because every one of them is A+. If I had to single any of them out , it would be Samba em Preludio, in a beautiful Italian translation of the original Portuguese words. 'Io senza te...Io sono una fiamma e luce non do...Io sono una barca e mare non ho...Ho paura di vivere senza te.'Vinicius starts the song, Ornella does the next part and then the two of them in a truly moving duet.If you have never heard of this CD and are an Ornella fan, then I dont know where you have been. And if you love sambas and Brasilian music in general , then you must have this album. Believe me, this is an all time classic!

Amo Ornella. L'amo perché si è sempre spesa per la musica e per il pubblico fino all'ultimo. Oculata nelle scelte e meravigliosa nei dettagli delle sue interpretazioni di cui ha affidato la produzione a professionisti validissimi che hanno valorizzato la sua vena interpretativa portandola a livelli altissimi. Questo disco è un po' l'emblema di tutto ciò: un fortunato incontro di mondi musicali che ci trasportano in un mondo magico fatto di note e poesia, di voci e pensieri, di amore. Uno dei dischi in assoluto più belli di sempre grazie all'incontro di Ornella, Vinicius, Toquinho e anche Bardotti che ha coordinato e prodotto un capolavoro. Grazie Ornella, ovunque tu sia sappi che ti ameremo per sempre.

ミーナ、ミルヴァと並ぶイタリア三代歌姫とも称されるオルネラ・ヴァノーニですが、６０年代のキャリア初期から 最も洒脱に歌っていたのが、オルネラで、私が初めて聴いたとき、既にエリス・レジーナを髣髴させられたほどでした。 ですから当然のように、そのキャリア形成の中で、ブラジル音楽にも接近していったわけですが、１９７６年の本作では、 ついにというか、ブラジルを代表するアーティストであるヴィニシウス＆トッキーニョと共演したアルバムとなっています。 このアルバムですが、ただの共演に終わっておらず、実に練り込まれた作品となっているのです。 １４曲もあるのですが、時間は３３分足らずで、ジングルのような短い曲を挟みながら進むトータルアルバムです。 ボサ・ノヴァ一辺倒には陥らず、全体として爽快さよりも、滋味深さを追求し、仄かな哀愁を醸し出している点もいいですね。 雰囲気が伝わってくるという意味で、言葉の壁を超えている音楽だと感じました。 ブラジルでいうサウダージの感覚とはこういう音楽のことを言うのだと思います。 オルネラのアルバムは、５枚セットのOriginal Album Seriesが、vol.2まで出ているので、オリジナルアルバムを集めるには そちらがお勧めですが、このアルバムはそこには含まれていないので、一枚単位でぜひ入手して頂きたい作品です。 個人的には、ヨーロッパ発のブラジル音楽の底深さに感動させられた一枚でもあります。
