there's something magical about this dense multi-surfaced pasta shape, it's perfect with my Bolognese, the sauce gets into every nook and cranny. but I MARVEL at the fact that the package states you should boil this for 7-9 minutes -- in my extensive experience, boiling this toscani for ANYTHING LESS than 13-14 minutes is going to yield you some very crunchy pasta. I LIKE very firm pasta, and I find that boiling mine for 14 minutes yields perfect pasta still pretty close to al dente. so I would have to say try 7 (or even 9) minutes at your peril! but maybe it's just me.

These are trustwortI Like this I use it in beansoup I like it because it does not desintigrate when boiled multiple times. I usually buy this from the grocery store. I bought it from Amazone once because the store was out of stock. It may be less wxpensive to buy in the grocery store.
