Very tasty with a tough texture that is very pleasing to bite and chew.

I’m truly surprised at these negative reviews and I’m so glad I didn’t like them deter me from giving this jerky a shot. This is the only store bought jerky I truly love. Epic makes another one that’s way too salty (The venison sea salt & pepper bar) but this one is perfectly and subtly sweet because of the honey, which balances out any saltiness. Yes, the meat is oily, as others have commented, but anyone who knows anything about wagyu knows it’s not a lean cut of meat! Don’t ding the manufacturer because of your lack of knowledge.I order almost a dozen of these at a time and have yet to experience any mold issues as some others have unfortunately experienced. Guess I’ll count my lucky stars! My husband is also not a beef jerky fan but not surprisingly loves these, so we share them.I also love the wholesome ingredients. It’s SO hard to find commercially packaged jerky that isn’t 1) full of refined sugar and 2) doesn’t have a bunch of ingredients listed that you can’t pronounce. I enjoy the simplicity of ingredients this jerky offer, yet the complexity and deliciousness of its taste.I will continue to buy this jerky for as long as it’s offered on Amazon, as I haven’t been able to find them anywhere in store.

Flavor is great! The texture is a little different than what I thought a 'strip' of wagyu would be like. Not like traditional jerky where it's just a slice/strip of meat. It was like a processed strip shaped patty, sort of. Not bad just not what I expected.

This not jerky, it's a pre-ground beef strip. First impression is that its moist and oily... not smoked, not salty with a hint of black pepper spice. In the absence of spices you figure there would be a flavor to the beef or wagyu fat.

I was not sure if I would like these since I’m picky about my beef sticks (hate Slim Jim’s) but these have great flavor and satisfy my hunger. I definitely will be buying again!
