Huge! But fantastic
Wish I bought one years ago rather than battle on with a frying pan. So much easier if cooking for a family. Food glides off, washes nice. Lid is a massive bonus. It is heavy and sturdy so feels and looks like quality. Pleased with it!

32 in size. Solid sauce/frying pan.
The media could not be loaded. Likes: 1. deep and big in size can prevent oil splashing around2. Thick material can sit firmly on the cooking hob and durable.3. It could be used as frying chips or steaming food4. Good value as the glass of the lid and the metal of the pan look very good quality.5. Good looks.6. Its handle is good to grip.7.non stick.8. Could be easy to wash according to the others. But I won't try it as yet till this Christmas.

Absolutely huge!
I bought this on a warehouse special. I knew it was going to be big, but I didn't realise it would be this big. So I would advise customers to carefully check the dimensions before purchase. It is in fact A bit too large for the purpose I bought it for, but I won't rate down for my mistake, and at the price I paid for it, I can use it for other things. I bought this for toasted cheese sandwiches. They are my sons favourite food and I wanted to be able to make them without soaking them in butter. This actually does make lovely sandwiches. The finish means they turn easily and don't need much butter to avoid sticking. We have also made eggs, sausage and bacon. The first batch of bacon was made with no oil. It didn't stick, but the bacon didn't taste the same without a tiny drop of oil. Next we made sausage, which had more than enough fat. I wiped most of the fat out with kitchen roll before making the eggs, as I do not like greasy eggs. Again, they came out perfectly . You can cook nearly anything without oil with this type of surface, but You will find some foods just don't get the same texture or taste the same without a drop of some sort of fat. My only issue is that this is bit large for every day use. So I bought a smaller groan for eggs and sandwiches and will use this only for cooking large amounts of food, or something like soup or pot roast. The heat was very even , the bottom of the pan completely flat, and the handles look and feel very nice. After cooking, it's just a matter of filling the pan with water and setting back on the ring. By the time dinner is finished, the water will have heated up and you can just wipe the pan out quickly , rinse and dry. You can use a tiny drop of washing up liquid if needed. It is not recommended to use a dishwasher as this can damage the non stick coating. And of course you are not meant to use metal utensils. The handles on this pan look like wood, but they are a type of plastic. Whether wood or plastic though, neither goes on the oven. In addition to be Far better than traditional non stick pans for low or no oil cooking, these pans also avoid the nasty smell that comes from Teflon type coatings. I am.extremely sensitive to chemical smells, so this is very important to me.In addition, we own a parrot. It is not in the kitchen, but even so , the times from Teflon coated cookware can kill birds in small amounts. And if it is that dangerous for a bird, I would prefer not t have my children exposed to it .There is no consensus on the safety of granite cookware with birds. However , because it is free of the chemical that causes the poisoning, polytetrafluoroethylene, it should be safe. Most of the sources I have found say as long the cookware has no PFOA or PTFE it is considered safe.It should be noted though that even oil can emit some fumes that are not healthy for birds and it's best to remove parrots from the kitchen when cooking and there are some reports that say fumes from other forms of cookware can be dangerous if severely overheated. At any rate, I certainly feel it much safer than traditional non stick coatings for birds, and probably for humans and other pets as well.

Very good, so far
This is the second Carote pan I've bought and the first, bought last year, is still as good as new. This one has been used less so its durability can't be confirmed yet, hence 4 stars. The pan is large, deep and has a lid, making it good for stir-frying or conventional frying, or for risotto, ragus, curries etc. Big enough for a family and no problems so far with the coating. This seems to be a reliable brand at a good price.

the OnlyPan u need
this is my favorite pan!! super high quality and it looks really pretty as well. it’s gotten a bit scratched after a couple years of daily use but that’s really just a cosmetic thing and doesn’t affect the function at all. much better than teflon as there’s no non-stick coating to flake off into your food. it’s quite deep as well so it can be used to boil stuff as well. literally the only pan you need if you’re not feeding a family, you can cook pretty much anything in it due to its size/depth. super easy to clean as well

Great pan
This pan is wonderful for cooking anything from Burger to sauteed veggies. I also have the large saute pan and I won't use anything else. Food comes out great. Clean up is easy.

Best pan
This is a great size and I like that it's deeper instead of bigger around. Less likely to slosh anything out while stirring. Very non stick and easy to wash. I'm going to order another and replace the other pan I have. We use this pan nearly every night and it is holding up really well. We use it on a lower heat, as directed. It cooks evenly and heats up quickly. However, if you need the bigger around, flater surface area, this pan isn't that.

Superb Nonstick
I have many top of the line, high end, well known (with famous chef's names) cookware. This pan by Carote rivals them all. I chose the white and aesthetically it is beautiful. In order to maintain the longevity of a non-stick pan there are several important "dos and don'ts" to remember. Never put cold water into a hot pan, never wash the pan while it is still hot and do not use abrasive sponges to clean the pan. I never use a high heat as it disrupts the integrity of the non-stick coating. I use medium heat and wait until the pan has reached the desired temperature to cook what I am making. I never use a high temperature as this is what causes "hot spots" which will result in discolouration of any pan. The Carote pan has excellent heat distribution. In order to avoid scratches and wear-and-tear I always use wood or silicone utensils.I have cooked salmon, chicken, several different stir fry dishes using a myriad of sauces and sautéed many different vegetables, all of which cooked to perfection. I let the pan cool down and then wipe it clean with a paper towel. At this point the pan is literally spotless. Then when the pan is completely cool I wash it in soapy water with a soft sponge and the pan is sparkling clean. A non-stick pan is only as good as the care you take each and every time you use it.Everything glides beautifully in the Carote pan. I use a quick, extremely light shot of avocado oil (which has an extremely high smoke point) and absolutely nothing sticks to the pan. Even without the avocado oil if I am just using sauces or water (as in poached salmon), the food skates across the pan - literally. The Carote cannot be used in the oven as other cookware can, however, with how superb the pan cooks this does not bother me at all. The capacity is definitely enough to cook for four people. I can cook enough food for my meal and refrigerate or freeze the leftovers in several containers.I am absolutely thrilled with this pan and I highly recommend the Carote for all your stove top cooking.
