Great Starter Wheel
I bought this due to unavailability of the T150 or T300 by Thrustmaster. I wasn't sure I'd want to spend more than $100 to try sim racing (I'm a die hard F1 fan) so I bought this to give it a try. Holy crap it's fun. Unbelievably fun. I tried a crap HORI racing wheel first that I immediately returned, and the belt drive on this felt WAY better. Super smooth and way better feeling at the wheel. I've since decided to return it and upgrade to the T300 for the force feedback. While this was kind of a "proof of concept" purchase, it's been great for $100. Also, the pedal board is full size and very solid. Everything feels well built and not just cheap plastic. I'd highly recommend for a first foray into a sim racing wheel.

High St
Honestly this is my first steering wheel and I love it. I know there's no force feed back or vibrations but I'm a starter and have PC so I'm used to no vibration it's perfect. It has shifter pedals on the back, they click and feel really satisfying. The brake and acceleration feels okay but they move around so much if you don't have a setup for it. The steering is a little hard at first if you are new but when you get the hang of it it's so peaceful. I love using this in Forza and cruising/going really fast.

''Works good'' .
Works pretty good,, but took the colum cover off, & added ''a small bit'' of ''Super lube'' silicone oil to the steering shaft bushings,, to smooth & tighten them up some,, plus to make the assy. last longer... Also made sure I didn't get any on the Bungi cord,, as that might eventually mess with the tension of it. I was a European Automotive Master tech of around 40 years,, & am just ''anal'' about trying to improve on things. I actually worked on, & drove,, ''more than some'' of the high end ''actual'' cars in this game,, & am really impressed !! Think this game is a keeper. I

Worst item I've bought on Amazon
When I got this item I connected everything, the wheel was fine, but when I tried to push on the throttle it had no resistance and when I tried to fix it on my computer, I noticed that it wasn't a technology problem, but a physical one, so I opened up the back of it and found the pedals were snapped off the mechanism and there was gunk inside it. I really wish that amazon would check their reused items for functionality before shipping them. This item also said it was used - like new, but I doubt that since it seems these pedals were worked on after being broken with tape and whatever the gunk is. This is the second wheel and pedal set I have bought that didn't work since they were used. Please Amazon check these used items for usability.

Good buy at around $60
Before I review the product I just wanna say this has NO FORCE FEEDBACK (go find a different steering wheel if you want to now) this will more than likely be a turn off for people but for those who are like me and have no means of trying to become the next Lewis Hamilton or Sebastian Vettel. I was looking for a steering wheel that was first off the right price ($66 when I purchased it) and secondly has the features that most steering wheels should have. The Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition Racing Wheel for the PS4 met those requirements which led me to my purchase of the steering wheel and GT Sport (might review later as this game has very up and down reviews). --------------------------------------------- WHATS IN THE BOX?: - Steering Wheel - Pedals - Clamp and manual ============================== REVIEW: --------------------------------------------- OVERVIEW: Overall the steering wheel feels great, it has paddle shifters, controller buttons, directional arrows, options and share button, etc. The housing of the steering wheel is hard plastic but what do you expect at $100 original price. The clamp for the steering wheel I thought looked clunky at first but then I tried it out and it works pretty good, it clamps onto my Ikea desk that has a thickness of about 1-2 inches effortlessly. I am sorry to say but I do not know what thickness it will and will not clamp too but I figured the product page or customer questions should have that somewhere. As stated above there is no force feedback so it is powered via a "bungie cord" mechanism which feels great. As long as you are not viciously counter steering or just turning, the mechanism should last for a while. The pedal has a throttle and a brake both are quite tight and not too realistic feeling which I will go into more details below (including the steering wheel). In the end the Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition Racing Wheel for the PS4 met my expectations and has satisfied me so far. If you are someone who just wants to enjoy a racing game with a steering wheel whether its GT, NFS, Forza (there is an Xbox version of the steering wheel), Project Cars, Asseto Rossa, etc this is the best bang for the buck at around $60, at the original price of $100 I would rather go up a tier and spend usually around $30-50 more on the Thrustmaster T150/pro or spend double the price and occasionally see the Logitech G29 on sale for $200 and these two will come with force feedback. PROS: + Sturdy steering wheel + Steering wheel and pedal kit + Build quality for the price CONS: - Pedals are tough - Pedals are at a weird angle for ground use MAYBE A CON?: - No force feedback (not for me but could be for you) --------------------------------------------- STEERING WHEEL: I repeat there is NO FORCE FEEDBACK if you missed it the first this is your last chance to find the other two products that I listed. The diameter of the wheel is around 8 inches so it is not a full size steering wheel. It has a turning radius of 270 degrees which should be more than enough for just racing. Has all the standard controls (X,O, square, triangle, L2, R2, start/options and share, directional buttons, and two buttons behind L2 and R2 which could be L3 and R3?) on the face for operation without a controller and has paddle shifters. The little red knob that has a red light when plugged in is the start/options and share button, I believe up is start/options and down is to share. The clamp was wonky at first glance but exceeded expectations when used. As I mentioned I don't know the exact measurements of thickness for fit of the clamp I apologize for that. Overall I like the steering wheel and feels sturdy for the price I got it at. --------------------------------------------- PEDALS: So this is where I did not like the product at all, I mean its bearable because I drive with two feet anyways but for those who don't will need to hold it with the other foot. Why do you need to do this? because mainly the brakes although the throttle is a little tough, the brakes just have way too much tension and require a good amount of force for full engagement. The throttle was a little tough but that is slowly getting broken into whereas the brakes just seem to not care about your foot and stay solid even after 30 hrs of use (yes I know that isn't much but I can tell the throttle is getting softer). The angle at which the pedals are positioned are too much unless you have them mounted onto a stand. I have mine just on the ground and I think they are angled too much for that location. Some people say the pedals are too close to each other but I don't think so and I wear shoe sizes of 9-10 just for reference, unless you have Shaq feet I can see this being a problem. Overall the pedals can and should be better but I am sure that is how they force you to buy the better pedals with the clutch which will ultimately make you want to upgrade your steering wheel too.

Worth the money!
Handles very well. Easy to use and we attached it to a tv "tray table" and works just fine. Nice sensitivity and steering is smooth. Pedals are solid even for a size 13 foot LOL.

Surprisingly good
For the price, I didn't expect much from this. The pedals are exactly what you expect: plastic, light, but they work. The wheel actually has a pretty nice feel to it despite being a budget wheel. The shift paddles are full aluminum and click nicely when you shift. Bungee is no replacement for force feedback but it provides enough resistance to let you enjoy the experience and not feel like you're sitting in an arcade machine. Works great with my PS4 and PC.

Excellent value
Thrustmaster has been my go-to brand since the 90s and this wheel reminded why the second I unpacked it. Build quality is much, much better than the other options near this pricepoint. The wheel's resistance is firm and smooth/consistent, as are the pedals. The weight of the pedals and the angle they move at doesn't cause them to move at all, which I've encountered with other brands. The lack of force feedback is disappointing, but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make to pay less than half the price of a model that does feature it.

Easy to connect
A couple of issues I have. Firstly, I hate how the brake pedal is almost vertical. Finding it really hard to get used too. Secondly, the foot pedal is almost impossible to keep in place. Needs to come with some kind of platform you can screw it too. I spose I could make something up, but just decided to buy a steering wheel stand. Will see how it goes with that. Anyway, other than those things it works pretty well.

Great Product With Entry Level Features
This is a quick review after a days use. So far so good. The product appears to be of reasonably quality (in terms of built, Materials, Movement etc). It was very easy to set up - Just Plug and play. The PS4 recognized the wheel instantly and i had no difficulty in setting it up. The wheel is smooth, No Input Lag, No dead zone, and all the buttons work fine. The buttons and paddle shifters are tactile and feel good to use. While the pedals are also smooth and responsive, they are pretty light and topple a bit if you apply force. It needs support at the back for proper use. The weight of the pedals can be improved to make it more stable. With regard to compatibility, this one works well with Gran Turismo Sport as shown in the video, F1 2021, and The Crew2. I have so far checked only these three, for other titles, you need to check on the thrustmaster's official website. On the Flip side, There is no force feedback, and it has a bungee cord inside instead of gears / belt. Also the rotation is only 240 degree. These may not matter much if you are an entry level user. Considering that these features are not available, my personal view is that a price of Around 8-9 K would be appropriate I will update this review after about a month of Usage

Cheap but good!
Gave it 5 stars because for the price, it's a really good steering wheel. I had expected it to be loose and hard to control, but was ok as it was just for the kids to play around with (Toddlers) during this lockdown period, but instead, the wheel feels great, has the firmness you expect in a steering wheel and is easy to use and control cars with. Not only does it keep the kids occupied, it's also improved daddy's NFS and Dirt Rally racing on the PS4!
