### ⭐⭐⭐ This is unimaginably cool. Someone built it with care. (With one major issue!)
*by S***A on 3 February 2025*

Ok, something this cheap and leveraging economics of scale is destined to be designed with compromises. This has only one compromise (maybe two.) The construction is super strong. Metal. Only the kick stand feels a bit flimsy and guess what, that’s plastic. Just get it. Yeah it has 30 minutes run time. But this is designed to be used one off when working at places with no light. For example, I use it if, say I need to quickly repair something electrical with the breakers turned off. Or say, behind the cupboard to repair something where the usual ambient light is not enough. The only thing I cannot assess is if they are driving the LEDs too hard and the battery + the LEDs would last many years. 1 week update: They are driving the battery too hard. Or the quality of the battery cells are poor. Or they are sourcing seconds battery. First few usage, the battery lasts full 30 minutes on high brightness. After that the battery lasts about 10 minutes on the low brightness setting. See the thing is, the core functionality of the product cannot be compromised to this degree no matter how well the rest is designed. I am ducking 2 stars for this flaw. My hunch is that the product design is okay, but manufacturing cost cutting is causing them to either skimp on battery management circuitry and / or sourcing low quality batteries. Not opening the device yet to inspect, but one day I will. Will update when I do. For now, buy it if you really really want 5 minute portable very bright lighting.
