Der Deckel ist komplett verbogen. Dadurch das ich die beiden Plexiglassplatten des Deckels gedreht habe,so das sie bauchig gegenüber lagen konnte ich die Scheiben gerade ziehen. Jetzt, es n paar Tage später scheint sich die größere der beiden durchzusetzen und es wird kontinuierlich wieder krumm. So ist es natürlich nicht ausbruchssicher. Außerdem fehlte seitlich im schwarzen Kunststoff ein kleiner Stöpsel, so das Ameisen entfliehen können. Hab ich jetzt mit Tesafilm zugemacht. Uns seitlich musste ich kleben, weil die Platten ca. 3mm oben auseinander standen. Wahrscheinlich hab ich ein Montagsprodukt erwischt. Ansonsten solide.

Llevo tiempo comprado diferentes hormigeros, un tip muy importante que me gustaría informar en base a (mi experiencia) : los hormigeros que son de una pieza y que no tienes que armar como este, son mejores que los que debes de armar y te los mandan desarmados, avitas fugas, hay algunos que tienen tornillos impresos de plástico, esos son lo peor, no duran nada, hay otros que ni sistema de evaporación tienen y eso es vital en cualquier hormigero. Observen vien los detalles de como esta echo el hormigero.

This is a great self-contained formicarium that is suitable for novice ant-keepers. The materials and build quality are excellent, it's weighty and solid, feels robust. Having the nesting area and outworld attached in this way makes it easy to move around if necessary. There is plenty of space available which can be given some extra character by the addition of sand etc. That said, there are a few issues/oversights I'd like to mention. The first is that the magnetically attachable water tower leaves a slight opening at the top of the connection area that small ants can escape through. Secondly the small mesh covered reservoirs below the nesting area, used for managing humidity, would benefit from having a transparent area at the side to gauge water content. As it is you have to lift the formicarium and look at the bottom to assess the water levels. Finally, the protection film that all the transparent plastic comes covered in, which requires peeling off, can leave some residue which I've found impossible to remove. These are all relatively minor complaints and don't detract from what is ultimately a superior formicarium. My ants moved in almost immediately (much to my surprise) such that I didn't even have time to get the humidity level calibrated to their preference beforehand. When ants are this eager to move in, despite plenty of room in their current abode, you know they like their new home!

Good quality for the most part. The acrylic is thick and the magnets are strong enough, although, on the trash box I had to super glue the magnets in because they kept popping out when you removed the box. I also put some tightlock on the bolts and nuts just to be sure they didn't come lose. The water tower is a bit lose and there's a slight gap. I think because the magnets are on the bottom and being top-heavy, it tilts down slightly enough to make a gap. Ther worst part is the next cover fogs every night. I know it's humidity but it's a bit annoying because as soon as you open to clean it, the ants scurry to get out. My last complaint is the landscape in the out world is not removable. I'm not a fan of the fake plants, but I think I'll just cut them out.

Great ant farm. We have slightly large ants which worked great. Highly recommend!
