On initial review, they looked really good, and I was excited to try them out. I purchased these cables to charge two or three tablets, while I sit in one spot on the sofa. I used these cables for almost a month before most stopped working, each with its own problem. Typically, the main issue appears to be a problem with the micro-usb end. I would have to try to find a completely stationary position, where I could still get a charge. I don't move much, during the hour or two periods of use, so this was only slightly onerous. However, I stopped using them all after a friend borrowed one for a night. She returned the cable and my best charger the next day, as it had shorted out, presumably between the power and data wiring inside the cable itself. Fortunately, she smelled the burning insulation and woke in time to turn the charger off. Unfortunately, the charger was irreparably damaged. The cable burned through and was glowing hot. I would recommend finding a brand that is certified not to become an impromptu toaster and potential house burner. After 3 weeks the two 6 footers failed. I have to wiggle the phone-end of the cord around until it hits the happy spot then I have to rest something on the cord to hold it down. It's not the phone, all other cords work great. The 3 footers are so short you can't use your phone while it's plugged in.
