Hi please can you tell me the depth of this bowl... I am looking for a shallow one?

I bought the small size for a friend so I don't have it to measure, but I have the extra small size and the depth inside the bowl is about 32mm. From what I remember the small wasn't much higher, so I'd guess probably no deeper than 40mm if that helps.

What is the coating made of?

Not sure: it looks like some sort of glazing. I was iffy about purchasing this because of all the people saying the coating would come off, but I have been using it -and washing it four times a day- and it still looks brand new. We love it! As soon as our puppy needs a bigger bowl, I will get one of these in a larger size. I definitely recommend it!

Is this dishwasher or not? The label says handwash only
